@@MigalFredGuitar whoah thanks man highly appreciate it haha, the sub is where I go for stress release lol, damn for me personally its hard to get weez prog haha, you do a great work!
I only used the RP360XP for an artificial bass effect. Both the lead and rhythm sounds stem from the “Root Rock Crunch” preset on BandLab. The lead sound has slightly more presence and gain, and I doubled a lot of the lead parts to make them more profound. Hope that helps, and thanks for watching!
It started off as a pretty uninspired 1-minute demo (as most of my songs do) with one verse and one chorus. I was trying to write a fun, summery alt-rock song because it was June and I had spent the last year in quarantine writing depressing acoustic songs. I shelved the demo after recording it, only to revisit it a year later and finish it off with a bridge, solo, and coda. As I revisited the recording, the song took on a life of its own. What started as a run-of-the-mill pop rock idea became a well-structured summer smash. I labeled it as a Weezer-inspired song so it would get more attention.
@@MigalFredGuitar duuuuude, idk why but reading that someone who wrote such a bop also does the 1 minute uninspired demo thing low key makes me feel better about writing music. Too often I get in a vacuum of my own writing, start comparing to what others have written, and feel like my stuff is garbage. I sometimes forget that it doesn’t matter who the artist is, every song starts off the same (sometimes uninspired and needing work.) I’ve got more 1 minute demos than I can count. So thanks.
very pinkerton with a bit of a blue
Thank you, vomitor
Apparently Rivers forgot he was in Weezer, and made a RUclips channel called MigalFred Guitar. Jokes aside, you nailed it!
Thank you! Maybe I’m next in the Rivers chain (Kurt Cobain-Rivers Cuomo-MigalFred Guitar).
billy cobb shaking in his boots right now
AHHHH OMG HE NAIKED IT
I LOVE YOU FOR THIS COMMENT
this sounds like a maladroit/unchained melody/make believe era demo and i love it
Best description of it
Weezer is a whole another alternative subgenre, I'm telling you.
Mad EWBAITE vibes with this one. Reminds me of Go Away.
I feel like I can hear a little I just threw out the love of my dreams in there but I might be crazy
I can hear a bit of buddy holly in here in terms of feel, this is so good!
Thanks! I can definitely hear that comparison.

Maybe I will! A few people have been asking for this as well, but I always thought that people might not listen to my stuff since there aren’t vocals.

Amazing!!
Thank you!
sounds awesome!
Thanks!
Dang really nice. What scales did you use for the melody?
It’s mostly in the typical major scale. Lots of major sevenths and thirds in the melody.
awesome
Thank you
👍 nice Job!
How did you get this lead sound, it's so good! Is it just the rp360xp if yes what are the settings?

@@MigalFredGuitar oh cool thanks man!
luv it 👍
Thank you 👍
What is the name of the song.Or you haven't give it a name yet?
The intended name is “How Can You Be So Nice To Me?” I just wanted the video title to involve Weezer so it would get more exposure.
@@MigalFredGuitar cool, glad that I seen your post on reddit
