When I first started watching, I thought you were just another equipment trader. After watching for awhile I’m impressed with your knowledge and integrity. Keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing your time.
Started watching your channel when dirt perfect bought your equipment and the way you stood by anything that went wrong very honorable hope you’re getting a lot more business because of it
When I was a kid I used to enjoy watching and helping put old machines together. Now that I’m 89, I enjoy watching you. It is always a dice shot whether they will run.
I'm delighted that it runs and behaves just as you would hope for. I was very surprised how quickly it fired off and ran so smoothly for you. To me it suggests that the recorded engine hours are correct. A good work out after a full service and thorough greasing will give you a much better idea I would think. Congratulations on a lucky purchase.
Love your optimism and willingness to tackle every task to get these beautiful babies running! Been watching for a while now and I love the layout of your shop as it's well thought out and functional versus functionally obsolete capable of handling all sorts of heavy lifting and painting as well. Yet, without the experience and knowledge it would all be worthless. I absolutely love when you pull out that little parts book, it's so worn the pages want to fall away from the binder and it reminds me of the old Motors manuals and archaic pamphlets I used to keep. They're worth their weight in gold. I knew it would start but I did not know it would start so damn easy, what a blessing! May you be well, abundantly blessed and continue to prosper!
You must be the smartest businessman with hands on the job. You are able to get a machine going with no staff around. Another top job and your work and attention to detail is admirable. People who buy your products should watch your videos then they will understand your work ethic. Always ever ready to put in new parts. Very few business people do that. You are tops.
Oh it’s gonna run, no doubt in my mind, you haven’t got yourself into something you haven’t been able to handle since I have been watching your vids young man.thanks for the ride along sir.
As a wheelchair user, I love those extendable stick magnets. Great for picking up dropped metal items off the floor without doing a nosedive from my chair. Works on about 90% of household metal stuff like tableware, utensils, hand tools, clips, lids, etc.
Back when I was younger (much so) we used to fit those starters without removing the pump and pipes, most times the starter failed because it had oil in it from the transmission. When we had to fit a transmission pump we used to prime them and bleed them too, it made life better because the pump lasted longer and you more or less knew if you had pressure before you tried selecting a gear ! Nice video, brought back many memories.
Can't beat those old machines for reliability and simplicity. I guess time will tell if it was a good buy after you run it for a bit. If the starting up is an indication you should be good.
It’s funny to me that I don’t own any diesel equipment because I love watching will it start videos! I ran a Backhoe and Kubota tractor for a bit but that was years ago. Great content, love your shop!👍

Some times luck is on your side I am so happy it runs I know the filing because I am restoring a Honda 5518 Tractor with a lot of modifications and it did run but still a long way from finish but I am already very happy.
I expected it to run by the time you had finished, but the way it fired right up took me by surprise and probably a lot of others, yet another cool video ❤
Just thinking of all the jobs I've come on to where someone else couldn't figure out the issue or whatever. It's tough backtracking whatever the original issue is when everything is already taken apart.. Like you said, sure hope it's just a bad starter but then why would they go through all that work to pull a starter if that's all that was wrong (I'm sure there's a manual in the military to show the most efficient way to swap a starter.. oh NM)
Awesome awesome video Clint, I sat glued to the screen I love this kind of video I could have watched this for hours I love a mystery. Probably the radiator all it had was water in it and they opened the drain cock and took the radiator cap off to vent it they probably didn't know where it was going and he wanted to make sure that it didn't freeze like you say who knows. I am thrilled with this kind of video. Actually all your videos I have watched all the way through. As a retired Excavating contractor I miss working on tractors and trucks except my own LOL. Luckily I don't own anymore but you and dirt perfect and others bring back the memories some good some bad thanks keep them coming. PS I am still looking for a walk through on your yard crane
The geese were flying south here in KS yesterday. They must have thought winter was coming! At least the penguins aren't hanging around anymore! Lol 😆 😆 😆
That was cool when she fired up so easy so far I like your videos I love old equipment old heavy equipment I should say yeah I think I'll try watching some of your shows so far so good thank you
Thank you for showing the Track adjustment. That is interesting to know. For a none start removal from trailers, ect. I learn new things every time I watch you.
Glad this dozer started up for you and would love to see it after you are completely done with it. You and those around you all seem like great hard-working people and love to see when your sons help out.

Hey Clint, You've got to love the Old Iron. You're right, that machine will make someone a nice dozer that will still outwork anything new. Awesome video. I cannot wait for the next one.
Top notch! Really interesting video today. Thanks for making this video, it brings back memories of when I was a Service Manager for a Terex ( GM ) equipment Dealer back in the '70's Always good to watch a guy who knows what he's doing! :)
Awsom, guy. It walks well, turns well, and it starts easily which means it has good compression. Somebody is going to get a good tractor. Maybe Dirt Perfect? You know ... for that worn out John Deere?
That old cat runs nice doesn't even smoke right off the bat after sitting seems like low hour machine I watch all your videos and dirt perfect he sure came along way and you sure went threw a lot of machines

Nice to see a professional at work! Great job, think you were right about they tried to start it without any diesel in the tank. Excessive cranking and the starter burned out.
I got lucky 4 years ago with a 1974 Allis Chalmers that sat for 20 years. Put batteries, and fuel in it turned it over. Poof it was alive. Had to replace the clutches when I go it home, but it's still running.
I like that they put a ground point right on the starter.. One of the things I have done for over 40 years on cars, when servicing starters, is to run a fat ground wire from a starter bolt right up to battery negative, making a far lower resistance path than grounding only through transmission/engine block, to ground strap, to frame, to ground strap back to battery. It always makes the starter spin faster and stronger.
@@C_CEQUIPMENT It makes perfect sense! I'm just impressed that they saw the need and built it in.. Refreshing to see something smart from a factory setup. I just love these shop videos..
