The world is a better place because of Kevin.
It's been my experience when someone says, "it's a diamond in the rough" they actually mean "it's a turd in a field." Lol. Thanks for educating all of us on what to look for when buying heavy equipment. I've decided that if the time comes, I'll just buy what I might need from C&C Equipment and be done.
Clint, You should sell company logoed adapters that fit in the cup holders to allow plastic Pepsi bottles. 3D print them as needed.
PVC reducer 100x80 is ideal
My Subaru Forester has Square cup holders; huh?
I never went to a auction without a million dollars letter of credit. Needless to say I bought lots of equipment. I bought the ones that people thought were junk and take them home and part them out. After rebuilding all the cylinders and digger motors and control panels I could make 50K on a $3,500 machine. My back row wasn’t junk. It was mega profit. You know!
bridget makes the videos more fun to watch lol
heavy equipment auction is like hunting for a treasure amongst many distraction
I think Kenny Rogers song summed up auction strategy the best in ‘The Gambler”:
“You gotta know when to hold em, know when to fold em, know when to walk away, and know when to run! As Clint pointed out, some fools are willing to pay more than retail just to “Win”!
Now that would be You Tube gold telling Mrs. Clint you bought a helicopter and your gonna fly her home. Can't wait to see that video.
Ok… thanks for the heads up on the joke 😮🤦♀️😂
Busted!!!! Lol
Automatic transmissions with signs of water would need rebuilt as water initiates rust on the clutch plates and friction clutch bonding separation.
Yep
Tinder has a great selection of heavy equipment. Although most of the equipment there have mystery hrs on them and need rebuilt undercarriages
Kevin poses as DP with Pepsi, and DP shows up with a DP (Dr. Pepper) in hand. Too funny. Was so nice to meet You there Clint, and let me tag along for a bit.
You to
The only way Kevin would have been better as DP would be to do the hat trick. Take your cap off, scratch your head and put your cap back on. DP does it 10 or 12 times in each of his RUclips's.
Just shows you how much DP hates Pepsi in a bottle.
I was shocked on how much that 160 went for... crazy prices for sure.
years ago I worked in a body shop that repaired heavy trucks. We had a shop foreman that could create paint sags that you could see from outer space.....I am an expert at color sanding and buffing thanks to him lol!
That deere excavator $44000 with original paint and self leveling bucket was a steal
Sure glad you were able to get Dp make an appearance.
When I started watching your channel not to long ago you had 15k subscribers. Now you are at 90k. I know why. You have a great channel. Down to earth, being yourself, no huge ego. (like DP), LOL, some good comedy. Keep um coming Clinton/Clint. And good luck with the channel.
Nice Vid.. Love the Auction Vids.
Thank you for sharing this. May your purchases find happy buyers at a good price for your efforts.
Great buys
Taylor makes a great forklift. That is one company locally that has good parts and service. Thanks for sharing!
Yes they do
Stay tuned for future CHUGA CHUGA videos.
I know nothing about heavy equipment. I would need someone like you to help. I would not notice any of those problems. I'd be better off getting a free "will it start" version to learn on. LOL
Kevin's snow bird patio or pool would be under the turn table!
I could win the mega millions lotto, go to weekend auction aand be broke by Monday morning lol. Well first I'd buy property's to dig and work on for no other reason except for FUN!!!! Bee watching you for awhile never realized I never hit the subscribe button but today I am officially a fan!!! Thanks for the take a long.
Kevin nailed it-----maybe the next one could be on counting concert blocks------------one little block and two little blocks.
Lots of Craigslist rebuilds around there.
17:20 I did a lot of environmental and reclamation work in Alberta and we were in super wet ground a lot of the time and we had these pads on our LGP 6R’s…we call them “rice paddy” pads and you could just about walk on water with them…our regular wide pad machines had about 36” pads and these ones were just a little wider and the regular pads just couldn’t go in the places he triangle pads could go…the idea of the triangle shape is to add more surface area to the face of the pad and it actually spreads out the weight just a little better…don’t want to get into the physics of it but they work…and yes they keep the mud from piling up on the pads…the only thing with them is it’s difficult to finish with them because they make the ground look so rough with all the triangle dirt balls everywhere…it looks like a truck full of Toblerone bars flipped over in the ditch when you are done finishing the shoulder and back slopes!..lol!!..cheers fellas!!
That roaches out Deere for $44,000 was insane!!
Yes plus 10%
Yes, but the auctioneer said it had the original paint, I guess he had to say something.
AMAZING VIDEO. GOT TO SEE SUPER SHARP BRIDGETT,LEARN A MASSIVE AMOUNT OF MACHINE PITFALLS FROM CLINT AND GOT TO LAUGH WITH KEVIN AND YALL TO BOOT.!!!
Thank you 😊 👋
My guess on the 700H, if it is anything like here in the PNW $28K. (Note: I should watch the entire video before I post, at least I was close). I use to buy and resell a lot of stuff from the auctions around me. But people are bidding up and past retail at times. Add to that 13% auction markup, plus roughly 10% sales tax on top of ever thing else and you have to need something pretty darn bad. Thanks for sharing.
The knowledge you guys have is simply amazing, and you do a great job sharing it with us. TYVM.
That dozer does start on eather
I see the self leveling bucket system is becoming all the rage! 🤗 Kevin's impression was brilliant, I was killing myself with laughter, had Mike off to a T 😂🤣😂
they have had self leveling bucket's for the last 35 years ive been in the business
We always called the "pyramid pads" swamp tracks
It’s amazing what stuff sells for down here in the south. Demott auction has auctions in my town every few months and it just amazes me what people will, pay for pure junk. Thanks for sharing. God bless.
The internet has just about ruined some of these auctions by people paying way to much for shiny pictures, of wore out machines they have never seen up close. That and herd mentality of people caught up in bidding and end up paying higher than new prices. I almost feel bad for these people but hard lessons are often the most remembered.
Those JCBs could have been used on a beach resto project too, that sand gets frickin everywhere on those jobs. That said, I know a guy who had a skidsteer on the beach before Ian and they found it about two months later in a canal under what was left of someone's boat.
Thank you for showing a road grader and skid steer inspection.
hello c &c equipment its is randy and i like u video is cool c&c equipment thanks friends randy
“Oh here’s some parts” LMAO right from the get go. 😂
Very interesting to watch your pre auction inspections. How informative on the details you relay to your viewers. As always anther great video.
I bet DP was crying when the 210 sold for $137. WOW!!
Man I love those swamp tracks on that LGP though. So nice in messy clay
Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us, Clint.👍
I'm an old steel worker (71yo), ran some mobile and overhead cranes, and other stuff.
Was always interested in heavy equipment... but don't know squat about em'...except to not run em' dry. 😉
Watched the recent double rebuild, and was hooked. Found you through LD18 and DP.
People realize an HONEST crowd when they see one. 🤝
Right on
my GAWD... again, i dont care how long youve been doing it, your fricken knowledge isamazing!
Screwing with DP on the 220 is priceless. I watched it 3 times. Funnier each time. Kevin gotta get the nasally speech down a bit better though
Clinton Mrs Clint, Kevin, Mike great video! Good luck on all your purchases! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Thanks Kevin 😉
good job holding down auction fever. There's always more down the road.
👍 The auction footage is fun to watch.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise you’re one of lifes gentlemen 👍🏻🏴
The DP routine was pretty funny. I'm glad that you bought the D-7. I sure did like operating that machine.
CLINT AUCTIONS VIDEOS ARE AWESOME THANK U TAKE CARE
Here we go ,,,all settled in ,,, Lets enjoy!!Cheers!;-)!
Clint you are absolutely correct about 👀keeping both eyes open around auctions.
A thoroughly enjoyable video....Thank You.....
Hope you make enough on this one to cover the 2x motor take out and rebuild on the other one. Like the auction video's.
I hope so too
It’s nice to see mama c & c in the videos
That is funny Kevin acting like Dp. Almost just like him. I was laughing hard.
Great looking 7, you will be doing a lot of trucking good luck on the rest of your bidding 👍🏻🇺🇸
"any count". The only person other than my dear ole Granddaddy and me that I've heard say that is you Clinton/Clint. I like it. Good ole boys. The people that really make the world go.
prob better depreciation on new vs old too. friend works at a place where owner owns a dealership on top, only runs his products and flips with a few weeks warranty left so buyer has a bit of feel good. He gets a big write off as they get govt$$ for mining etc operations so they are all sold to that operation.
Great tour 👌, thanks for taking us.
I have no reason to buy something there but I find these auctions interesting. Clinton you are very knowledgeable.
Love tha video Clint and Mrs .
Thanks 😊
Enjoyed the video
DP bought the 210 based on fuel economy...dirt grain and steel bought the 220.
DP bought the Hyundai 210. Dirt Grain & Steel bought the Hyundai 220. The 220 is heavier, little more break out force and a little longer boom. God bless
I ran PC 800 a lot of times typically they had 6.7yds on them. They dig fast, but they dont cut in hard stuff like the Cat 385s or 390s, Fun stuff.
Love it. I can hear my dad and grandpa laughing looking down from heaven on what some of that stuff is selling for. Wow! Be sure to put operator my “donkey” on the cup holder adapters. Hi from Texas “momma” CEO 👋
Hi Texas friend!! 😉
Mr.& Mrs. CC that ringtone... a lady sings that "Waa waa waa!!!
I hoped you had a good trip& shopping!!!
(Did Kevin put anything in the shopping cart?)😂😂😂
That chopper is registered to Maxwell Truck and equipment in Pennsylvania
love the auctions 😀
My best friend, Super! Looked, very interesting! I liked your work! I enjoyed watch your video. Thanks!!!
my personal the big 800 Komatsu the 375 Caterpillar the rarely JCB haul truck and the tracked dumpers
That auction cadence is a special thing. Thanks for taking us along Clint!
Takes a bit of experience just to follow what’s happening!
You know the market very well Clint and it even amazes me the items people will bid over what it could it be bought for new from a local dealer. Champaign taste on a Beer budget......😁I went with a neighbor 3 times last year to look at excavators, I cooled his desire to purchase one after the repairs he would be looking at. A good deal that wasn't as good in the end.
Thanks for taking us along Clint. Very educational show. Can't wait to see your see what you bought.
Clint you make a great video. Your efforts and knowledge are appreciated.
You should have gotten a picture of Stevie Wonder while you were there cause he is the only one who would pay 44k for that JD 160g.🍻
Good stuff buddy.we seen it n heard it running.
nice stuf clind
One man's trash is another man's treasure (or lament). Lots of good information and interesting people in this well put together video. Happy buying.
Thumbs up anchor up 👍
Another great video thank you keep them coming please I am retired from HVAC company after 36 years
Thank you! Will do!
Clint if you ever get into the prinoth track units keep in mind you have current stock. There's alot of 🦌 in it. I'm a prior parts manager and sourced alot of parts from deer .
Cant believe Maxwell flew in the R-44. There's some worn out junk there lol
All I can say is that some of those ole boys have got really deep pockets, man o man. Thanks for the ride along sir, enjoyed it, say hello to Mrs Clint for me. Looks like you got some decent machines, be interesting to see you go thru them.
Hi Terry 😉
Hey Clint!! Great video. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us. I'm shocked that DP doesn't like the 210 now. You just never know with that guy lol.
Awesome Clint you Guys are Hilarious 😂
Over 21k. Ha I was right. Loved the video!
Thanks Clint 👌👍
He’s the second best sidekick riding with you
Excellent. Very knowledgeable on heavy equipment. Great video
Congratulations guys.
That auctioneer was in Columbus, Ohio a week or so ago at Alex Lyons sale, he might make an auctioneer, he’ll never be one. The second guy was pretty good.
Enjoyed thanks
Interesting sale
Good times
Enjoyed the video
Looks like you and Kevin are having way to much fun with the Hyundai. Great video Clint keep them coming really enjoy watching.
