MMDA should make a public announcement that they will be adding Reckless Driving to the list of offenses of every motorcycle rider that tries to run away from enforcers. Oh, and increase the fine to 15k.

Do you have access to data or statistics of violators, 1st, 2nd, 3rd offense. Those who pay their fines, those who've run away and showed/no showed on their show cause, etc.. would love to know more about those. If you could show on future videos please. Thank you
I could feel my blood rise when it's a high-end big SUV that's being spotted. These and the back-up SUVs typically would lord it over other vehicles on the roads and enforcers and cops would simply look away.

Ask where exactly are the area being shown? Seems may bridge the entrapment at the end of the flyover. Kaya sa top palang ng bridge recorded na yung mga violators. Parang both Bulaga. The Violators and the enforcement both see each other Kaya too late to hide back to the normal lane. No matter how you argue that you are not on the Bus Lane. May supporting video to show you that you have occupied the Bus Lane even for a mere 1 second. Even the swerve in and out to overtake the vechicle Infront of you are not allowed.

Runners will keep on increasing since there are no updates regarding those riders that are supposed to be issued the show cause order but no one knows whether LTO pursued those erring riders or not?

I'm also wondering about the other footbridges. Some of them were put in place late last year and it seems like the finishing work is dragging on.
Considering how fast I've seen footbridges go up in the past, I don't really understand why these are taking forever 🤷
@@GadgetAddict hoping that its not the elevators that stopping them in opening those footbridge/s else I would argue to have it used by the commuting public even without the elevators. there are times, using ALL service lane are actually faster. once i tried it coming from QC to makati. it wasn't that bad, but then again i don't drive daily to makati. must be one of those lucky days.

Can MMDA get assistance from HPG so they can catch / pursuit those violators who avoids apprehension? They are a danger to other vehicles and enforcers when they recklessly weave around to get away.

In my country riders are allowed to drive on the bus lane they also recomend it for better safety...

If they were really able to pay the fines, what happens to repeat offenders and how many motorists just ignore the tickets (driving without license).
Because increasing the fine doesn't seem to deter these thousands of stubborn motorists from using the edsa bus lane.

Mr gadget addict, how about an episode on how penalty charges are being enforced ? Issuance of ticket would be meaningless if we don’t know what is actually happening with payment .

MC riders have lots of money to donate good for LTO. Maybe they can expand their scope further than EDSa and QC.

Penalty should be multiplied by the number of violations done.
Its easily 10k for first offence since most of the violators are also absconding.
Now imagine if there are more violations pile up.

As long as there is no action from LTO they will continue to avoid and escape the enforcers.. show them how many got suspended and revoked licenses.
I think its time for MMDA to update or enforce a law where evading an officers hail comes with a penalty.
