A Pilot's logbook is a very important document for license issue/renewals or even while applying for a job. It pertains to all the flights undertaken either with an instructor or on solo controls. It's important to enter the right data under the respective headings, be it on aircraft or a simulator during the day or night.
Log your
Flight Training: Dual Hour or U/T
Solo Flights: Solo / PIC
Flight Checks: P1(U/S)
Instrument time: Simulated or Actual
Make sure to check your logs for its authenticity. Any discrepancy can cause a Pilot to lose his or her license. Also make sure you take all the necessary signatures, seals and stamps from your respective flight school.
eGCA has a facility to log your hours in the e-logbook. This is important as all the license issue/renewal have now been moved over to online eGCA portal. Your hours need to be approved for you to be able to apply for a particular license.
