When the gentleman said "This is where Jackie sat for a 5 hour interview with the Warren commission, you could see that went right over that silly woman's head. She didn't know what the Warren commission was or the significance of it. Instead she wanted to move on the the pretty rooms. What an air head, with no respect or knowledge of history.
i prefer listening to the man.The lady always annoyingly interrupts and deprives the man from telling us significant information about the place and life of first lady in her elegant house. i dont care so much about what the lady thinks! Isn’t she there to listen and learn from the gentleman! Hello! stop her from talking and interrupting! Thanks for your attention!
Her speech ( Erika ) is nasal, strident and the giggling is annoying. Using words such as "Yea" for "Yes", "Yer" for "your", "fer" instead of "for", indicates she may not have had much schooling. She is certainly lacking in sophistication. I lived in Georgetown for many years and she is certainly "out of her league"..
Indeed! She has no appreciation for history or Mrs. Kennedy. She has no clue about the actual history of Mrs. Kennedy’s life there and has no clear interest about it at her formal property and constantly going on about the aesthetics. She has no clue! So disappointing and utterly wasted on her.
Beautiful home, and I don't mind some of the modern updates. The issue I have is with the woman in the black dress giving the tour. Her voice is annoying and she doesn't let the real estate agent give the tour. She ruined the video.
What a shame whoever is selling has such horrific taste in decor and, as predictable as you’d expect, ruined the historical significance of the home w/ all the “updates” and whims of the current trend. That’s irreversible now. I’d say Jackie would cringe at almost all of it.
The owner had plenty of brass and a shortage class. Then again, Harry Truman was a good guy, and God knows how much better the White House would be if he hadn't done a gut job on it.
She is a rude narcissist. Disliked her immensely. You’re on a the tour being led by someone else. Let the agent take you on the tour and shut up. Thank you.
It's so nice to enjoy viewing something special like this when the hosts don't keep pointing out the obvious, so we can enjoy viewing without condescending comments! Apparently, the young lady either loves the sound of her voice or thinks those watching are stupid! The gentlemen is perfect, I can't listen to another word from her and put it on mute to avoid her irritating jabber jabber! Tuned in again, but could no longer watch, she talks toooooo much! Switched to the RF instead.

I was a college student when a friend invited me for the weekend to stay at the place he was house sitting for a co-worker. That gentleman had inherited wealth, and he bought this place in Georgetown a while after it was vacated. First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy moved here after the tragedy. One shot here shows Mrs Kennedy coming down the front steps followed by Billy Baldwin, the decorator she hired to spritz up the place. He never even started before Mrs Kennedy announced she was moving to Fifth Avenue. She was very cosmopolitan and D.C. was very parochial. There's nothing to do there. There's no culture. There are no great people who aren't connected with the Government. It's a one horse town. She felt smothered in that hick town by those crooked politicians. Rather abruptly, she left. My impression of the house is different than this video. I don't recall the rooms being so humongous. The owner had an old-school family background. None of that shiney, flashy stuff. I was struck dumb by his art; it was coca~cola (the Real Thing). At the tip-top of the house was a widow's walk, a small square room with windows on all four sides. It was rumored that from this spot you could see the Eternal Flame, but I never did. Surely, any cultured person could not picture the ever- tasteful Mrs Kennedy living in such a mess of a place as shown in this video. Ck
He’s telling her you’re standing in literal history about the commission interview and she has zero reaction & only cares about going in the kitchen lmfao 🤡 Most likely because she doesn’t know shit about history. Real top notch reporting glad your talent pool is strictly Mensa scholars
The video was ruined by the reporter who would not shut up. She’s annoying beyond belief. Instead of allowing the realtor to give the tour and background she speaks over him, gets ahead of the narrative and makes it unbearable to watch. Horrible behavior on her part.
Turning the volume Off from the Giddy Gadfly helped, and also pressing "Pause" to study the residence without the jolting adolescent behavior. The real estate agent cooly let her gadfly speak for itself... as it was, ridiculously out of place.
Can you please explain why you insist on racing throughout the property? Taking just a few more seconds to appreciate the details would make this a much better presentation. Thank you
The potential buyer could be a smaller foreign government who needs an all encompassing compound for; - Ambassador's Residence & Entertaining - Embassy Offices - Consular Offices As a private family home it is now a hot mess devoid of any character, providence and importance. One presumes it is not on any National Historic Register and therefore the 'modernization' was able to get away with anything it chose to do.
Jackie never stayed in one place very long like it was some kind of mental thing . I read that she drank and smoked . She was of the world and the world honors its own. That statement will go over a lot of people's heads.
How much space does one family need, especially in historic, urban Georgetown? The amount of space is way out of scale for its location, and deprives two other families of places to live (by consuming, evidently, two other houses). Rather repugnant.
No, in fact there are not enough dwellings for everyone. And when housing supply decreases (3 residences are now 1), housing costs increase. Plus the neighborhood is less active. Actions have consequences. If people recognize and accept the consequences of their “dreams” (actions), that’s being responsible
I wish this woman would be quiet and quit talking over the tour guide of the house. She keeps talking over him as if she were the one guiding. I was annoyed through this entire video
A touch of marble here and there in a bathroom is nice, but I think it is very overdone nowadays. Traditionally, many have called a toilet "the throne," but nowadays people are turning bathrooms into church sanctuaries - which I guess would make the vanity the altar? I'm just not thinking marble in bathrooms is a good way to spend money LOL. But I guess it is something that happens when rich people with no taste have more money than they know what to do with.

I muted the video. It is impossible. If someone will buy it and make a museum with a boutique hotel on the site. That would be wonderful.
So strange, this woman is welcomed to tour this house, then lead the tour for the real estate agent…..😳

It has a mixed time look which can work but you are right. Upstairs odd.
I agree!
The “secret opening” lead to another HOUSE-losing all cohesiveness and creating a sense of wandering from “home to home.”
I agree 100%. I've seen such an "improvement" in London and in Krakow (Poland), and I couldn't believe that barbaric devastation.
I live in a Georgian 1760 house in the UK and I think it's been destroyed, but no doubt some Arab will love it

What a shame to destroy house with history. Nothing is remained that has real value.
It’s still beautiful, even more meaningful to those who think of Jackie Onassis when She went to live there.
Can we have a re-do with a different interviewer please. She totally ruined this tour.

Why 3 houses combined?
Horrible shrieking voice. That woman is loud and gushing.
I actually like the DC Metro Area ( Maryland and Virginia) more than New York and Long Island,it is warmer and sunnier!

My house was built in 1760 in the UK but i doubt I would get that sort of money, because not only is it original, I'm not famous
Kind of ugly inconvenient and odd, the decor was atrocious and $26,500,000 ridiculous.
