In this video, I sit down with Vivian Stauffer, CEO of Hamilton Watch, to take a look at some of the brand's novelties for 2022. We have a brand new Khaki Field Auto in titanium, new Jazzmasters, a stealthy PSR, and even a completely new mechanical chronograph with military heritage. What's your favorite new release from Hamilton this year?

I really respect your opinion and views on time pieces. You seem to be very well informed on what you present in your videos. That said sometimes you look like the really smart but dangerous villain in an early 2000 crime movie.
Hahaha I’ll take that as a compliment. The power of turtlenecks 😂
@@TeddyBaldassarre also did anyone remember his interview with the alpham?
He totally needs a hairless cat to complete the look!
Man. You spoke my mind. Teddy has that diabolical but next door neighbor bad guy mastermind kind of look
We all have our Seamaster Diver watches ready to get us out of any situation LOL
Hamilton is such a great brand for young collectors, or people on a budget. You are getting a really great product with a nice story and history. And as you move upwards (if you do) a Hamilton will always belong in a great watch collection.
i would agree it is a good gateway. I would never suggest someone to have a bunch of Hamiltons as their collection matures. Have 1 or 2 icons and start saving for other pieces.
@RRR haha, yeah, that depends on the Seiko. I didnt get my first Seiko until this year. It sits nicely in my collection.
@@brianhsin678 fully agree. I actually started with Hamilton Khaki Field Auto and now moving upwards. Not sure I would buy another one today. Not diminishing the brand. It’s great, my Hamilton is still on heavy shift and I love it
@RRR I am not a fan of Seiko's lower end, they have some serious QC issues. I would encourage you to look at Grand Seiko. At the 5-10 k price bracket they do offer amazing finish and in-house calibers. Grand Seiko is finished at a JLC level for an entry level Omega price.
@@brianhsin678 I agree too. Need variety!
So nice to see the Pioneer Mechanical Chrono. I have one of the original 1973 military issued ones and this very close to that original.......
Mr. Stauffer seems down to earth guy, and knows the ins and outs of the watches as well.
Superb interview and showcase Teddy, looking forward to more videos like this.
He has been with the brand and rose the ranks to CEO over the last decade and a half. He had great enthusiasm for the brand.
I disagree.
Been here from the early years. So awesome to see how much the channel and Teddy has grown to become a respected industry commentator
It's so cool to see that these brands have values, ideas and are led by nice people! Interviews like these give them a really friendly face :)
Just picked up the new 40mm Jazzmaster open heart featured here. Couldn't be happier. Not too big, not too small. It's absolutely perfect. 🤜🤛
Hamilton is quite underrated.
When you your looking for a reliable mechanical watch with a neo-vintage feel Hamilton should be your first consideration.
Love that Hamilton does such a great job at executing these tribute watches. Tudor and Bulova, although at different price points, are other brands that "get it right" as well. I have an original Hamilton military chronograph, a 1970 Royal Australian Navy version or RAN, and I wear it in rotation with my other vintage and modern watch but I am very tempted to pick up one of these for my collection. Between Hamilton and Tudor (and Bulova with their recent prototype military dive watch recreation), I've been able to scratch my itch both in vintage and modern examples. With the odd Marathon or Benrus, I seem to wear my Tudors and Hamiltons more than anything else.
Really enjoy these types of interviews and reviews, not only do you get to see the new watches but you get some great insight into the how and why of the design.
I love my 2005 Hamilton Aviator and still keeps good time. Had it cleaned and serviced in 2017. Excellent value.
Keep doing what you do, Teddy, These interviews are spectacular.
Awesome production value Teddy and Team!!
Great video! Thanks for bringing us the new Hamilton pieces. I think they're the greatest bang for your buck Swiss brand. Nice looking watches! ⌚️
What a great looking watch.
Great interview
Thankyou for bringing it
Keep on ticking.
Hamiltons are great. I have the khaki field auto 38 and murph 38. Despite my other more expensive collection, I continue to wear these two most often. Great value, comfy, versatile, beautifully designed.
I’m just now getting into the watch game and ran across your channel and am really digging your videos. Bc of your videos I’ve decided on going with a Hamilton for my first one, the Aviation Pilot Day Date.
That chronograph is absolutely perfect!!!
awesome showcase!! thanks for the video
I've just bought my first Hamilton, it is the Khaki Pilot Pionner, beautiful watch, is one of those watches that you see and fell in love inmedietly, love the cushion case with the textured dial and the small size, looking forward for the incoming releases!!!
This was a really nice interview on a great brand. I cherish my Khaki field even more. Congratulations on the professional growth of the channel.
Beautiful pieces. Especially the black digital. Very Vogue, straight lined, simple, and gorgeous.
Wow this was great! I really like the last 2 for sure 🔥
Spot on interview btw. Hamilton CEO seems to be a very easy going guy. Plus he knows his stuff and they have great marketing philosophy reaching out to a younger audiences.
Great video Teddy. It’s awesome seeing your growth in the watch industry.
Thank you, my friend!
The stainless steel PSR, favourite Watch I’ve bought for my collection so far
Since last year I really started to develop an interest to watches and especially Hamilton because of their history and watch fields models. Next week I will receive the Khaki Auto 38mm (H70455533) that was tested one year ago on the channel!
Also glad to see new additions to the collection and particularly the new 38mm titanium models for smaller wrists like me.
Hamilton says to me a classic watch that's not afraid to take a chance to be different. They don't overdo it; unique with a classic look. Love it.
Absolutely love that chronograph. Is some of the thickness from a domed dial?
Best value and underrated. I’ve always enjoyed them in my early days of collecting.
Great video, Teddy. Well done.
Excellent interview!
Hamilton has a wonderful selection of time pieces.
Love the brand and absolutely love my Khaki Field auto. The chrono looks amazing.
That chronograph looks great!!! I am already enjoying the PSR!
Cool video, Teddy. Really appreciate it, mate.
Hamilton are outstanding time pieces! Digging the pilot chronograph and khaki field look amazing.
I love the retro digital... it even uses a dot matrix LED display just like the early ones in the 70's. Also the titanium field watch, wow... they have hit the mark there.
Great to see this presentation with Mr. Stauffer. I’m impressed with Hamilton’s new offerings
That chronograph is sweet! So is the PSR.! I may just wear my 1973 stainless steel version today!
Thank you, Teddy, for your continued championing of both Hamilton and Longines. There is a lot between these two storied brands to savor.
Awesome work Teddy I'm wearing my Hamilton Jazzmaster H385410 great to see they are bringing more beautiful watches
fantastic lineup -- great to see Hamilton bringing such compelling options to market. I've set my budget for my next watch at $1200, and they've just made my decision a bit more difficult!
That Chronograph is amazing!
Love the chronograph!
So jealous of your Hamilton visit. Cool releases, and to my surprise, those Open Heart Jazzmasters were among my favorites here. That Pilot Chrono is cool, but no display caseback? Plus, I like the way the pushers on the existing Pilot Chrono Auto and Quartz versions are more recessed that they are on this new manual wind version.
That new chronograph is very cool. I hadn't seen that one yet. The kind of moon surface Khaki Field Auto Titanium is also very cool. Hamilton is putting out some solid releases.
The new chronograph will be a best seller for sure.
As a 64 yr old I have long moved away from digital watches , but that PSR Black looks fantastic and I'm back! Simply beautiful, with the 'fade to all black' feature, makes it look so contemporary.
ALSO , the black Khaki Field Titanium is a winner.
I'm sold.
Currently own a Khaki King PVD, my favourite watch, now saving for the Khaki field titanium, think they look so good.
The chronograph is stunning!
There is also the new diver's watch with the white dial and blue bezel. It might be on the larger side (43mm)but it looks great. Two other releases not mentioned in the video :Khaki Aviation Pilot Pioneer. One with small seconds at 43mm and the other with 3 hands at 38mm. Both great. Hamilton really did a great job this year.
Love that “moon” dial and the chrono at the end!
I am really intrigued by the titanium case with that 'concrete' dial! What a perfect every day wear. This was a great display of upcoming pieces. I'm sure getting to travel to their HQ was a real pleasure. Keep it up!
I love the 38mm Field Watch in titanium. No nonsense rough and ready watch. I plan to buy.
Me too, I have a wrist 6.8 inch / 17.5 cm and I want 38 mm which has a l2l is 46 cm.
I've been hesitating to buy the Hamilton Khaki and I'm glad I did. Got to have the titanium version for light and durable adventuring
Thanks, Teddy, for a really nice video. Since I started collecting almost 5 years ago, I have always wanted to have a Hamilton. Unfortunately, I’ve never quite found one that I can finally pull the trigger on though I like a lot of their designs. The new titanium khakis may have just pushed me over the top. Really nice looking pieces.
I don’t know what you mean. I tried to reply to that address but it won’t send.
That chrono is very nice; if I hadn’t just bought my Farer I would definitely consider it.
Great content as always.
I picked up the far cry 6 watch and absolutely loved it! Funny enough, it’s because of the game I actually got into watches! Super excited to see the new Hamilton watches!
How is the reflection on that watch do these watches have any anti reflection coating on the inside ?
That was a good video. I am a big Hamilton fan and own a Khaki Field Auto and a Ventura. Here's a quick Vivian Stauffer story. I sent Vivian an email about an issue I had with the Khaki Field watch. He called me back the next day and we chatted about Hamilton watches, and our passions for skiing and mountain biking. For a pint of Guinness, can you guess what two separate watches Vivian wears when he's skiing and mountain biking? Here's a hint, one watch is a Hamilton and one is a grateful rocker's tool watch.
Peter
I bought the Titanium Field Khaki 2 years ago as a tool watch. I am a remote medic and have worn this watch constantly - Magnificent piece of kit. My only criticism is that runs a little fast. i also changed the leather strap for a single pass NATO. Well worth the money.
Hamilton is such an underrated brand. While it’s my favorite watch brand by far, I do not understand why the lug to lugs are so long compared to the case size. 50 mm lug to lug on a 40mm watch case is a bit much.
Pretty much why I only have one Hamilton.
I have a khaki field and my main criticism was the lugs are so long.
Is the reason for long lugs due to accommodating leather nato-style straps? Except for that I see no reason for them. I despise nato-style straps of any kind so I also am in the "shorter lugs please" camp but that's the only justification I can see (and that's a small sub-set of owners).
That's why I didn't bought the Khaki Field!!! Those lugs are just too long, instead, I bought the Khaki Pilot Pioneer, is a freaking gorgeous watch!!!!!!
Longines has the same problem imo with some of their models. It sucks that that clashes with the look
Love the hand winding chrono
Recently purchased a khaki Aviation, truly a beautiful watch
Not all Hamiltons speak to me. But I do have to share my opinion that they are AMAZING. The two I have owned have been in my top 10 out of probably 200 watches over the years. Tons of wrist time because I just couldn't walk away from them. Even ones I haven't owned but played with in real life were stellar. If you have a Hamilton on your list, do yourself a favor and buy it!
Hey Teddy - Another great presentation of some new releases from Hamilton. The new Chronograph has seriously caught my attention. When will you start carrying modes from this presentation, especially the chrono?
Keep up the great work!
Hoping to get these models in later this month!
@@TeddyBaldassarre I can hardly wait! Thanks Teddy.
Great material. I love my khaki field titanium. I love quality of Hamilton watches. Great brand with heritage.
Hey Teddy. Thanks for your great videos.
I'd like your review of the Hoffman Racing 40 Mecha-Quartz.
Or an opinion from any of the people on here who've owned one?
Teddy that was a spectacular video. I've yet to purchase a Hamilton watch. I've had my eyes on them for what seems forever. The Hamilton Kahki green dial in this video is the one I'm going to purchase. I'm going to go check out your site for it. Great video.
I don’t believe it matters one iota whether Teddy actually sells some of the watches he reviews on his site…his knowledge and insight into watches, and the industry in general for me surpasses most of the other watch review sites, he’s a businessman as well as a watch fan….and you’re watching the review on a money making commercial platform….just enjoy the content.
Hyped for the upcoming Hamilton watches. I ordered the latest titanium khaki field auto , absolutely stunning watch.
Can you please make a review of a green field titanium 38mm? Looks amazing. Although it's a bit shame they don't make it in 40mm version. Thank you!
I might get a Hamilton because of this interview.... Great interview and the CEO looks like he's into watches and knows his product.
The finishing of the digital watch is soo good
I never really cared for digital watches but the PSR black looks awesome. Really considering getting it.
The chrono is really nice.
Normally I'm not a huge fan of the open heart designs but I love how this one looks! Well done!
Same, the white dial is sweet
Agree ,but the blue one is fantastic looking.
Love my Hamilton watches. Great brand. Priced well. Particularly fond of their Military inspired themes.
A manual wind aviation inspired chrono is excellent, but really the only thing holding me back is the lack of display case back. Especially on a manual wind. I know it’s basically a 7750 but still.
That 38mm auto titanium is the perfect field watch /casual everyday.
I wonder if it will fit my 6.8 inch / 17.5 cm wrist🤔
Great video as usual. Does anyone know why new watches are referred to as “novelties”?
I love my Hamilton watches , the new pilot pioneer is a stunner , I may have to add one to my collection
Great designs - could easily have 'Patek' on the dial!
I'm super excited b Hamilton recently. Black bazel with touch of orange! Mechanical... now for 650USD? Incomparably great. Looking forward
The Jazzmaster Auto (H42535140) looks absolutely gorgeous to me but I'm a little worried about the water resistance. If it was 10 bar I would definitely buy it, no question.
Sorry to say that none of these do anything really different from what Hamilton has presented in the last few years, everything just looks ok. I’d like to see something that could truly compete with Longines or Oris.
Isn't Hamilton a clear tier below Longines in the Swatch group hierarchy? Their peers would be Certina, Tissot & Mido. Longines (and arguably their competitor - Oris) is only 1 notch below brands like Omega.
Time for another interview with Hamilton and a factory tour like you did Tissot!!!
Incredible value for your money! 👍
Psr & open heart look to be worth every penny of their list prices to me - very nice indeed
Great content - you should be really proud of it. I did snigger at the end though when the CEO of Hamilton expressed his pleasure at being physically with you. Maybe dont let the future Mrs Teddy see that bit.
Can you pls do a review on Christopher Ward Moon watch?? Been thinking about buying it for a while now but confused… Thank you
The Ardmore looks fantastic. Please make a large mens version.
Somehow my Hamilton Jazzmaster Open-heart has the most wrist time whenever I go travel, though its water resistant is only 5atm. There is something about it that shouts 'reliable' to me
I think you do a pretty good job resisting interrupting your guests when they're talking.
Nice job Hamilton! I like the nodates. No ghost position I hope.
I would like to visit in Cleveland , I'm near Toledo would that be possible ?
That chrono 🤤
Can anyone answer this question? I'm considering the Jazzmaster power resesrve, but I can't find any indication if it has anti-reflective coating on the crystal. I assumed they all did until I bought the Murph and was really disappointed in the glare on that one. Would love to know if ARC comes on the Jazzmaster before purchasing. Thanks
RUclips suggested me this video on the day I received my second (and first brand new) Hamilton watch.
A blue Jazzmaster Gent Quartz.
Chrono is a looker. Really nice.
