  • Last week we looked at mic etiquette for crew, today we're chatting mic etiquette for PERFORMERS. Could also be titled 'how to be the sound department favourite'.
    A lot of people debut in theatre without having any experience with mics or any knowledge about how to look after them, use them and work with the person mixing. Let's chat about it.

    You actually hit all the main gripes; I mean points. People also need to stop tapping their mics to see if they are on!! They also need to pay attention to the sound person when a problem is noticed.

    Firstly thankyou for all your work. Im an audio tech over in perth who works for a school. Im a musical specialist and would love to share this video with the students to reiterate what i have been telling them if thats ok with you?
