The name is not Katie. Her name is Kathryn Dawn Lang and she goes by K. D. She is an incredible singer.

While KD Always sounds amazing. In this ONE definitive performance and I do not use that word lightly. The reason this is SO much better than any other "Crying" performance she has done is due to this being a Tirbute to Roy and she was singing this TO Roy. Very different from the other times. I also read in other comments from people that were there, this standing ovation lasted a good 4-5 minutes after she was done. Then while her Vancouver Olympics was good, when she was singing at the Canadian Songwriter's Hall of Fame is way better. Again, due to her actually Singing in Front of Leonard Cohen. (He was supposedly there at the Olympics also, but not sitting right in front of her) as when she did the Hall of Fame. That is how you know a True performer is standing and performing, when their Ultimate expression is left for Everyone to witness. This she did. It was also the time Mr. Cohen and his partner said that the song can now be laid to rest, it was Blissfully done. Some people think it was before and some after, but it was this one as confirmed BY the Son.
I don't think Hallelujah can touch this
