Hi - in order to get more product you really need to have the Microsoft 365 business version of the product. My understanding is one of the apps is an online version and the one is my computer version, but I don't know how to determine the difference. I do know that I seem to have more features available from Office Suite using one outlook than the other. Do I need to install the apps from both microsoft outlook versions and just sign into the one drive for the outlook that I am using? Hi Theresa, they are just web pages so they aren't apps as such (I know that they get called apps, so it's a bit confusing). Not sure why you have 2 accounts, but I always use Chrome personas. Hi Sonia, it really depends on what sort of office person you want to be (do you just want to do clerical work, or do you want to develop products). I highly recommend you using Microsoft Forms as I can see the relevance to that for all businesses. I just found out that my high school students will be using these products. Originally, I had planned on having the students install Adobe Spark to build a digital portfolio using text, infographs, audio, video, charts, etc. Would any of the Office 365 products be comparable to Spark or offer a digital portfolio building experience like the one I described?
I think the closes thing to this is Sway. I'm not a huge fan, and bear in mind that all the Office 365 products are internally focussed, which may or may not be what you want. What is your learning objective here?

This is the best resource I've found on comparing plans. www.microsoft.com/en-gb/microsoft-365/business/compare-all-microsoft-365-business-products do bear in mind that there is a home and a business offering. Essentially, E5 offers the most, E3 offers less (for me it doesn't offer Power BI) and E1 is a very basic offering.
It doesn't strictly speaking update your computer. You can choose to download Outlook onto your computer and if you do you will have a version of your emails that is synchronized to whatever is showing in the cloud. The cloud version of Outlook and the desktop are essentially looking a the same thing.

It's probably best to focus on one of the apps from a dev perspective rather than all of them. Teams offers a lot of scope for integration, but Power Apps is my all time favorit as it spans both citizen developers and pro-developers. Hi, with the online version changes are saved automatically and multiple people can work on the file at the same time. Additionally, other products in the Office 365 ecosystem can connect to an online file. The desktop version will never go away are there will be an awful lot of things that can't be done online, you can't open files with passwords online for example and there is a limit to the file size that can be opened online.

Hi - you'll probably find that your administrator has not provided the licence for the additional products to you. It's just a switch that they have to flick in the admin centre for Microsoft.

Hi SB, all of Microsoft Office 365 is cloud based (i.e. via your web browser) so it's a range of productivity tools that help you work in your organisation. It's less useful for straight personal use unless you are heavily into the various products.

Microsoft Office 365
I am signed to Office 365 on my laptop and home pc but they don't sync documents to each other
Best way of synchronising is to either use onedrive or sharepoint and then synchronise both to the cloud. Hope this helps
