This does look super value. Ordered the blue one as I don't have a blue diver. Their website is hopeless though. Went around a loop several times trying to use PayPal. Wonder if that's why they have so many left
We have no control over the Paypal integration as it is directly integrated from PayPal, but if there were any other issues on the website please tell me and I'll try to fix them.
Fantastic value for sure. My only gripe and it's a problem with all them, is that fully lumed white dials never look proper white. Apart from that it's great. Thanks for the review bud. All the best 👍
Great review Will! I have been looking at Forteller for a while. I know you like San Martin watches. How does the Forteller Cambrian compare to a San Martin in terms of finishing? A bit torn between the Cambrian and the SN008 from SM. Cheers!
Great looking watch and outstanding value for money. However, I just cancelled my order. Contacted by DHL to pay the necessary VAT and import duties (which I expected). Paid for the watch through PayPal and it converted to just over £199. DHL, however, calculate VAT and import duties on the price before conversion. They also then charge a "handling fee" of £11. In total the additional fees amounted to £77.71. Being a tight Yorkshireman, that just annoyed me. Essentially it adds another 40% on top of the price. Okay at £276, it's still reasonable value for money but paying a handling fee on top of a shipping fee to DHL just goes against the grain. I am bitterly disappointed.
I know the some countries have 0% import fees on our watches(Like in the US), but £77.71 has to be wrong. I have contacted DHL and they are saying that there must be a mistake on the UK import departments side and will update me on this specific case within 24 hours. I will try to get it solved by getting DHL to send you an updated import bill that should be 20% of the pruchase price(aprox 38,24 GBP) + the import handling fee of DHL. If you still wish to have the order refunded I'll try to figure out a way through PayPal.
@@fortellerwatchesas322 Hi. Thank you for this excellent response. I too thought the figures must be wrong. The figure of £38.24 is more or less what I'd originally calculated. Just to say as well that I consider this to entirely be a DHL matter and in no way reflects on either the quality of the product or the service offered by Forteller Watches. I did, however, use the "contact us" form on your website to inform you of this matter so I'm sorry that you had to see this before you saw that. If you are able to sort this out with DHL it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks also for the tip about Stripe. Must confess, I didn't see it as a payment option when ordering but I was in a bit of a hurry so may have overlooked it. Thanks again for all your help and attention.
Update:. Sven at Forteller Watches is a star. He's on the case with DHL (it seems they had miscalculated the fees) and I'll hopefully be receiving my Cambrian before Christmas. Fingers crossed! Thanks again Sven.
What a bargain Will. This makes the competition look pricey in comparison. Like the Cambrian Period trilobite on the caseback.
Couldn't agree more 👍

So then Will, which is best/best value, this or the Revelot Hexmariner?
This is better value, but I prefer the Hexmariner 39 due to its dial. I ordered the white one.

Full lume dials do look white if using BGW9. It looks green when C3 is used.
@@ZaltekReviews The dial of this watch is BGW9 and the indicies are C3 superluminova.

Never seen the SN008 buddy

Also we recommend using Stripe for all costumers as PayPals currency fees are high.

@@johnfrankland71 I will report back tomorrow with the update from DHL, and thanks for understanding and informing us.

Good deal
Badass included strap action with this one.
UK import tax I’m guessing?
I wasn't billed, surprisingly.
I was. Dhl added £50 in taxes and fees. It's still really good for the money though. Can't fault it at the price point.
I too was billed (see comment above) but £77! Not impressed, frankly, that DHL charge a handling fee (£11) for processing the VAT and import duties.
out of stock
The White and Black are, But the blue still has about 20% left.
