Well done! I have been to PE three times and seen several PE videos (perhaps an overdone topic lately) - but this is one of the best. I would have added to your list some of the deserted beaches on the perimeter of PE: Playas Barra Colotepec, Colorada and Roca Blanca and also a long walk through Centro. I checked out and enjoyed several of your other Mexico videos as well. Great content!
Puerto Escondido is becoming a lot more popular lately! Great place for backpackers. Ine had volunteered there about 8 years ago so it was interesting to see the changes! 😄 thanks for the extra suggestions!

great video! loved the info and the beautiful drone footage. Just curious about the safety around there... Heard things about thieves and stuff. I see you are walking around with your dslr around your neck, which is reassuring. Did you feel safe there?
We felt pretty safe. Many tourists around so didn't feel like we were going to get robbed or anything. Outside the tourist main roads we would definitely put our cameras and valuables in our backpack so they wouldn't be visible. Wouldn't recommend walking alone at night, but other than that it seemed fine.
Do you recommend going to PE in June?
Remember to get a nice memorable tattoo when you're there. Look for La Diabolita Loca!
Hi, i going to be three weeks in Mexico including san cristobal. Do you recommend to go to puerto Escondido or playa, isla mujeres and the caribian side? Thank you😇
San Cristobal and Chiapas are amazing!!! Our favorite state! Puerto escondido has more of a backpacker vibe / young people and is cheaper whereas playa is more upscale but has the bluest waters. So really depends what vibe you’re looking for!! Beaches in the yucatan are better for swimming, Puerto is good for surfing because the waves are pretty high! If you’re choosing the Yucatan, we highly recommend Isla Holbox! It’s the best island

There’s a bus that goes to Oaxaca city! We have a video called the Oaxaca perfect travel itinerary where we explain a travel route including how to get to these places.

It’s not always marked on maps! You can just walk to the end of Playa principal and you’ll find a pathway there. It’s right next to the shore so you can’t miss it! From there you can walk as long as you desire!

Thanks for the great information! I don’t want to be too critical but it’s pronounced Pu-erto Escondido, not Porto Escondido. Since you do so much traveling, you can correct this pronunciation in other videos.

Yes there are many places along the beach! Just walk around and talk to some shops.

Be careful at La Laguna, they are definitely crocodiles there. People have gotten bitten, so always be aware.
