    This one is a stupid question but do we have to press the recording button after the completion of the time limit again to start a new video or does it start a new video by itself? thanks in advance.

      Did not test it with G9 but on G7 and GX80 the camera keeps recording and just creates a new file when reaching the limit. You lose around one second. I assume this is the same on G9.

    Hello! Query. Do you know if in the ntsc version the pal modes are now included? I am from Latin America and I am thinking of buying it in the USA, but I am worried about not having the pal video modes.

      There is a hack that puts lumix cameras in service mode which also enables ntsc on pal cameras. I did it on my G7 and GX80, but not on G9 so far. Maybe it works for G9 too.

    Thanks sir may i ask some questions, for slow motion vdo should i go with gh5 or g9 at 180fps which one has higher bit rate ?

      Hello! Sorry, I don't own a GH5 so I can't compare them directly. But as far as I can say from the short test up to 120fps the quality of G9 slow motion looks good.

      Souda Mnp If you’re looking for slow motion at higher bit rates go with the GH5 I own the GH5 and G9 with the new update for the g9 you can also shoot up to 180fps but if you’re into more video features no recording limit I would go with the GH5. it also has cinema 4K mode and anamorphic mode which the G9 doesn’t

      @@mikes_perspective6580 Thanks sir, and gh5 has 4k 60fps 10bit internal record?

    Hey man! Thanks for the informations. Can you please tell us if in VFR modes we can control the exposure manually now?

    • @pmveugen
      @pmveugen 4 года назад

      As far as I can see in the settings, you can not change the exposure and only shoot with manual focus. When you select VFR, you can still select the different modes (P, A, S, M) in the video menu, but when operating the camera in M, I'm not able to change any of the settings with the dials.

      Hello, you can change aperture, shutter speed and ISO in VFR now. Still manual focus only.

      Tea Jay Photography Have you been able to change these settings when shooting in for example 180 FPS?

      @@TeaJayPhotography Ok that's a little bit strange😅😅 why you two guys see these differences? I'd like to understand this...

      @@HunterProduction I doublchecked it before posting. You still have no control in the old "high speed video" mode but you can adjust exposure in VFR mode!
