If a boyfriend and girlfriend are arguing a lot they need to separate.
She’s not going to jail.
She’s going to PRISON!
I remember when this case hit the news on the day that he died. It was OUTRAGEOUS that they (the police,) took her into custody, but then released her! If the reverse were to have been the case, and it was the boyfriend who had killed HER! there is no way in hell, that black man wouldn’t have been arrested and held without bond. PERIOD!!! We ALL know why….
Listen to the press conference from the states attorney’s office, she waited for him to die before calling 911. The boyfriend told her “I’m dying…I don’t feel my arm.” Her response was “I’m so sorry babe.” She knew what she was doing and allowed him to die. The woman stated that he had grabbed her by the neck, and threw her down to the floor. The police found no evidence whatsoever, that she had been assaulted. She also stated she got up and grabbed a knife from the kitchen, and threw it ten feet across the floor. However, the coroner said no way did it happen in that way, and explained why according to the States Attorney.
Sometime after her release, she was seen in the lobby of a hotel having a drink with her father. Several people recognized her from the news, and asked her to leave because she had “murdered her boyfriend.” Eventually, she left Miami to a remote island in Hawaii, where she was finally apprehended and extradited back to Miami, where she is facing a second degree murder charge. Finally, she is where she needs to be.
It wouldn't surprise me if she thought she wouldn't be extradited from Hawaii not realizing it's a part of the United States.

Having won a trial for self defense. I'd say he may have argument and merit and a jury may believe her. BUT Shes got alot against her. The way the stab is would indicate at the moment she stabbed him he was not aggressive towards her. If he had been actively attacking her or going after her. He would have defensive wounds. But one perfect knife stab says that she likely got the jump on him or he had been sitting or on the ground at the time of the stabbing.
