Question: after the processor that calls you before orientations says she has gotten in touch with all your employers over the last 3 years and closed your case, do they ask for anything else for employment verification at orientation? I don’t want to take my W2 or paystubs from my former employers unless that is absolutely necessary.
Your videos are absolutely amazing. I'm going to start my Swift OTR tomorrow and I have watched nearly all of your videos and I feel like because of you I am very well prepared to move forward with this journey. Please keep making your videos Because I promise you they are helping all of us a great deal. One more point I would like to make is that once you have gotten your personal OTR experience? You should become a mentor trainer yourself. I think you would do absolutely fantastic and I think you would be able to properly instruct countless other new drivers on the proper ways of being a trucker. You are absolutely amazing and I wish I could get a mentor just like you
trying to sleep while he was driving was horrible. head was moving back and forth non stop. i will never do team driving ever!. he was a good mentor tho.

After you finished school, did they send you home before you went out with your mentor? And how much down time was there that you had to wait for the mentor? If you did go home, did you need to find a ride to the local terminal and they just told you time and date to be there? Or how did that all work?
I got my license a a private school not with swift but the down time depends on you if you prefer a female or male mentor, smoker or none smoker after my orientation it and drug tests it took like 5 days to pair me up with someone
Me puedes hablar un poco como es el asunto de higiene cuando una es mujer. Y a veces cuando uno está en periodo y el trabajo está bussy. Si puedes hacer un video para nosotras las mujeres
O sea si te puedes bañar pero si te tienes que organisar bien para no tomar tanto tiempo. Sobretodo cuado the vas con un mentor tienes que planiar bien la ruta para bañarte y estar lista para cuano les toque partir

Bueno despues de entrenamiento tienes garantisado por 6 meses $1000.00antes de impuestos semanales pero puedes ganar mas que eso dependiendo cuantas millas metes a la semana es muy bien pagado y lo mas importante es que te enseñan bien so si luego te quieres ir a una commpania que paga mejor ya yevas la practica

Based on their pay probably yes, but in terms of teaching and mentoring adequately I don’t think so. Driving trucks is a very challenging profession at first, and from my own personal experience some mentors aren’t that greatest, and don’t have the patience, and the skills, that a new truck driver needs. But it’s only my opinion & i think mentors should get paid better and perhaps get some courses on how to teach new driver even better..
When i was with my mentor yes but now that am solo i have figured somethings that have helped me as a female. Can’t go out and about just like that, especially night time.
Yes i didn’t want to wait for a female mentor so i got guys as my mentor and it was weird and sometimes I couldn’t sleep 😴 lol but they were respectful and i bought cover everything PJs 😄

If your mentor did not perform a P.T.I.
you should perform a P.T.I. before any trip, so you know that the vehicle is Pre Trip Inspected.
Whatever your going to bring, keep it minimal.

I would hate to be your mentor. He sounds like a saint. You have way to high expectations.
