As a mentor for swift some helpful advice
1. Develop a good relationship with your driver leader
2 make absolutely sure you and your mentor gel well
If you’re not comfortable with your mentor, ask for another. Same goes for your DL. It will make things go so much smoother

Que bien 👍 si este es muy facil aplicar pago inisal es de de $800 antes de impuestos so viene siendo tu check de $642~~ 200hrs de manejo puedes aser tu upgrade con 160hrs

hi Vilma Thanks so much for explaining everything step by step,i just received my welcome email 2 days ago after my 2 day orientation,i got the form to get reimburse for the school fees where i got my driving training,i just dont have any reciepts,it wasnt one of those famus schools,i paid them cash,would you happen to know if the reciepts are imp,i can try to contact the school but like i said they are not very professional,so i dont know if they will give me the reciept

After the orientation, how long takes your hired confirmation? How many days pass from that confirmation until your first day at work?

If you got to orientation on a Monday it takes 48hrs for you drug tests results to come back they contact you as soon as they get them back

Well if you bring you own exams you should be good they still exam you again to check your vision hearing perception , they will check that your able to distinguish different color they will also test you on commercial road test and your driving as well

That’s how it feels at 1st, but sometimes you just gotta start with something it’s a process, but it’s a good career totally worth i did think i was going to pass, but i gave it my all for a full month and it paid off

Hey Vilma congrats on your new journey. Quick question the next written test we have to take when you get back from your mentor . 50-60 questions does that pertain what you learned in the book you received? Is the test pretty easy?

The macros at the end of the study guide are exactly the same going off and on ramp speed questions same pre trip planning questions depends on how your mentor writes them down as long as you know how long it would take you to drive ~975 miles drivibg at 55mi/hr now how your zonar lines

hello and thanks for the information on swift quick question for you so if swift sends me to do a local dot physical at an approved dot examiner of their choosing in my area prior to going to orientation, will I still be required to do another additional dot physical once Im at orientation? Also did u have to do a sleep apnea testing? Good luck on your training 👍

I yes they do another DOT physical on the spot I brought mine the day of my orientation & i still had another physical there at the orientation

@@DANIELSAM329 depends on what you go into. I’m OTR dry van and started at 37 cents per mile. Now 2 years later I’m at 51 cents. But it really depends on a lot of things. But you can make 1500 a week if you do it right
