Swift is a very good company. Only thing I really don’t like is they’ve changed the Lease program from 7 months to 9 months now. When other major companies are only asking for 6 months experience.
You got no business leasing a truck without at least 5 yrs experience. You shouldn’t lease a truck anyway. Just a money making scam that transfers all the expenses from the carrier to you. If after getting enough experience you wanna make that move, save up and buy a truck from a dealership. Monthly payments not weekly crap like a carrier, you won’t be drastically over paying for your truck like from a carrier scam and you’ll have the freedom to leave at anytime and lease it on with a different carrier or make the plunge to get your own authority.

I started out at Swift back in the 90s. I was doing the "LA U-Turn" run where I went back and forth between LA, and Phoenix areas and pay was a flat $xx per trip. They routinely failed to pay me for trips. Say I did 5 trips in a week. They may only pay me for 3 or 4 of them. When taking my pay slips in to get it squared away they would simply claim it was paid the week before, but that would be impossible because the trip did not occur before the cut off day for that week, not to mention I could whip out that pay slip and show it was not on there either. Round and round, and never got paid. It was also routine every time I came into the Phoenix yard to see a few drivers storming off through the parking lot, cussing, slamming doors, and throwing things, or physical confrontations between drivers and dispatch about pay, home time and everything else you can think of. The nice lady in the video was not born yet, so I didn't even get to ogle her.
Applied for swift 5 month ago. I didn't past the physical and had it take care of it and now swift not telling me why they will not bring me on this time....wasted my time wanted to be part of swift at the end they gave me no answer and recruiter doesn't want to pick up

So basically they “ Baby” you into training then when you start you’ll go into the REAL world the training they showed you is only 10% then to top it off you’ll get a shitty schedule when you’re working damn near every day. Cause they say they do hometime but in reality they REALLY want you in the truck damn near everyday and not have a life.
