Hey coop this is super weird but I actually have that version on family fued with the smaller logo on the top.. and it’s in the plastic with hangtab. Plastic only cut open on one side to get the cart out.. I feel like it belongs with you lol
Sometimes educational games are rare and hard to find! Always nice to see uncommon games, which even if price is not expensive, might be harder to find than Earthbound, for example.
Hi Cooper, my apologies in advance if you have addressed this already in another video (link it if possible, please) but I'm at the point of my collection where I'm starting to think about (well, worry about) how to properly preserve my handhelds (post-GBA) that have lithium ion batteries. I've heard horror stories of unused handhelds (or modern controllers/joycons) over a long period of time, causing batteries to bloat and thus affect the shell of the handheld/controller. Any tips or recommendations on how to deal with this concern that will definitely be one in the future. Thanks again for all your content. It's really useful!
Just remove the batteries on any controllers or handhelds that you won't be playing or sit on a shelf as display. If they're sealed, theirs nothing you can do. I don't know for a fact, but I think the swelling occurs more due to the charge discharge cycles over time. If the batteries are drained, and stay drained, they may just sit there inert. I've had one phone battery swell years ago, and it was constantly charged and discharged. I'd be more concerned over old AA batteries packed with wii remotes or game bundles leaking, versus a system just sitting unused. If it's a console or controller you use often, replace the batteries.
Best solution would be to just remove the batteries. There are replacements out there as well, so if one does die, you can fix it. Maybe not the easiest solution, but definitely the best, although I wouldn't worry about it too much. We have people trade DS and 3DS handhelds into our store every week that they haven't played or even turned on in years, and only like 1 out of 20 of them have a bloated battery. And its usually not bad enough to cause any physical damage to the shell.
Excellent pickups! The Captain Novolin is the only one in the Raya Systems series with the slip cover as it was originally distributed to hospitals, whereas the other three (Bronkie, Packy and Marlon, and Rex Ronan) did not get shipped with them. Nice find!
There's one with a slipcover on eBay for $20K right now... I just picked up a CIB with everything for $250 though! Fun to add to my shelf since I am a type 1 diabetic! educational
i wonder if that's the only slipcover for a snes game? RoboCop Vs Terminator was unique but still not technically a slipcover. I started paying attention to SC's and Steelbooks during the 360/PS3 era as well.
Educational 💁🏻♂️ im glad you got Nintendo’s attention and sponsored , you totally deserved it, your completing all of their games on each console, that’s a not an easy task, keep up the good work
I have Clive n Wrench on PS5 and it's really fun. It feels and plays like a N64 game. Has a Banjo/Mario 64 feel to it so I think you'll like it. It's one of those games that went under most people's radar but if you like the N64 platformers you'll really enjoy it.
Did not know about the slip cover(s). I just need Packy and Rex Ronan for my educational collection on the SNES. I didn't know about Fun 'n Games either. I'm going for all SNES mouse games and it looks like there might be a version that isn't compatible with it too?
one comes with a large Nintendo power magazine with all of the games that have cool compatible features while using the super gameboy titled -The Complete Guide to the Colorful Side of Game Boy
I thought I had played pretty much every SNES RPG game....now i'm gonna have to hunt down Robotrek...I don't mind cartridge only so $102 as of 9/8/2024 according to PriceCharting....
I’ve been subscribed for a hot minute! And I’m a fan! But something you said in this video is kinda bugging me…. I know that you own an operate, a brick and mortar But when things come into your store that you’ve “never seen before” and that “I just had to get it” seems a little off putting. Is this how you operate? Cool and rare and unusual things walk into your shop and instead of putting them out for your patrons you just take them home ?
16:58 WOW!! Never seen that one! Some SUPER awesome gaming collectibles as usual.

Snes Quest sounds like it could end up being pretty educational for new collectors!
The pickup video was very educational. I didn't know their was a slip cover for Captain Novolin. Wasn't their a SNES game about cleaning your teeth?
This video was very educational. It is cool to see that you have been partnered with Nintendo and can get stuff to review in the future.
EDUCATIONAL, love love this video
the best collections I’ve ever seen

You should put a timelapse on the ending of every pick-up video of you putting everything away
What an educational video. Thank you

You should reach out to John Hancock about those medical games having slip covers. He seems like the type of person who would know.
23:20 Soooo....
What's the difference between both version of Super Game Boy?
one comes with a large Nintendo power magazine with all of the games that have cool compatible features while using the super gameboy titled -The Complete Guide to the Colorful Side of Game Boy
