This build, designed for legendary difficulty in strongholds and The Summit, has been thoroughly tested over weeks, including with all directives. It's easy to create yet highly effective, allowing you to deal significant damage and withstand direct hits from rockets and drones. You can completely ignore explosions and focus solely on damage.
Sorry for the confusion about the TDI pistol. To get the 6th skill tier, you need to hold the pistol; other weapons will only give you 5 skill tiers. You can switch gloves from armor to skill tier to maintain 6 tiers when using the Capacitor or Harmony. That was our mistake. We recommend sticking with this configuration: the 5 skill tiers remain effective, and having more armor will be beneficial.
What’s the best method I would appreciate any advice
Doesnt the Kard Custom skill point only count if you are holding it? Also I prefer future whatever talent on it, to send my gear into overdrive and then switch back to capacitor. in-sync on my secondary. I like the protection from explosives though. Thats a smart move for legendary.
from what i see, you only have 5 skill tiers unless you are actively holding your pistol in your hand. something to keep in mind.

Great build gonna try it. Don't think I have 'Explosive Resistance' on any of my pieces tho, might have to craft or farm them. Also to clarify, when you're not using the pistol, the build only has 5 Skill tiers. The pistol skill tier only activates when using the pistol.
This is different, I need to try this out.
Ive always ran my skill builds at skill tier 6 so i would roll skill tier on your gloves so you have skill tier 6

Skill haste isn't needed because of how long the Assault Turret lasts. There's a trick: if you take cover and place the Assault Turret next to you, just before it dies or its duration ends, retrieve it. This gives you a very short cooldown and refreshes its health to full, allowing you to use it again immediately.

Well thought out build as always, was wondering why you decided skill duration was the most impactful gear mod here? Also, did you consider using a secondary weapon with future perfect talent?
If your skill has a lot of health, it can take a lot of damage, but if the duration is low, the Assault Turret dies before NPCs destroy it. Conversely, if it has a long duration but low health, the game will destroy the turret. You need both health and duration to maximize its effectiveness. Placing the Assault Turret correctly makes a huge difference, as it will kill everything.
This skill build requires more weapon damage to take advantage of Future Perfect, as you need to kill NPCs with the weapon to activate overcharge. The point of the build is to stay in cover, which is a different play style. The weapons are not for dealing damage but for boosting skill damage. The Capacitor can effectively kill lower-tier NPCs like red and purple, but you need to use your skills to kill elites and named enemies. Harmony and the pistol don't do much damage; they're used primarily to activate talents.
So you relied upon your turret to do all the damage because your weapons are gonna basically do nothing you’ve got no crit or crit chance I see that you can survive but it will make every legendary missions a slog
its a skill build dave. Its kind of the point. If you are going crit then you are half assing your skill build, your also half assing youre crit build.

Skill builds don't get anywhere near as much damage as a firearms build but being able to hunker down and let's your skills do the work is always fun, the problem that anyone can agree with though is drones are flipping annoying in legendary so giving up some damage to increase your survivability by what is most likely your number one hazard is real neat. If sniper dogs are out and you're too scared to peak over because they're picking on you, swapping to the TDI is a real good method of gaining some of that damage back because of the +1 skill tier.
Though to be fair, I'd probably just go with the one armor core from the exotic kneepads
So if your SHD is under 1000 then this build is useless?
You will have 80% Explosive Resistance but it will work better than having 0%
How do you handle chungas and dogos who don't have armour?
Yes without a problems
Threshold is at 80%.
CAP is 90% for explosive resistance
