- Video made for promotional purposes of the fecht-kunst.eu society. The society deals with the reconstruction of the original European martial art of the old warriors and fighters, better known as Kunst des Fechtens (Art of Fencing). Today it covers plenty of indiviuduals cooperating throughout Czech republic, Slovakia, Slovenia and Germany.
This is absolutely phenomenal. The martial and athletic skills as well as historical reconstruction displayed in this video are something all HEMA practitioners should aspire to.
Hi! It's been some time since the video was made, but AFAIK the sword are custom made by more craftsmen, the blades were done by Czech smiths Had and Ludek Kalny, the rest by a guy or two from Brno. The armour was done by Jiri Klepac, armour(dot)cz

Nice video! If you're going to list individual countries, though, there are lots more than you mentioned in the video description. There are plenty of KdF people in Sweden, Holland, the UK, the US, Poland, etc.
@geri121 There are a lot of good groups in Europe, especially in Germany. You might want to travel to Germany once a month to get instruction and eventually start a group of your own. That's how many of us get started.

@kaindrg Cool. Try NYHFA (New York Historical Fencing Association). Mr. Edelson is a very solid practicioner and instructor. You couldn't do much better.
I'd like to see what kind of sparring this group does.
@Kunstdesfechtens right out side of NYC. but as im progressing into my second half of my 3rd year in college i probably should be looking for an intership Lol thanks though

@geri121 There's an excellent sword group in Germany called "Ochs". Contact them to see if they know of anyone in your area.
@geri121 There a various books and videos on the subject of western martial arts :) As well as several groups and instructors. My instructor is Bob charron, hes been studying Fiore's teaching for 14 years and his instuction is very good

the problem is that in my region there is nearly no market for martial arts (except tae kwon do, judo and karate)
