Always enjoy seeing Toaster, he’s such a chill little dude. I bought a pair of Tecovas a couple years ago and they’re nice boots. I’d definitely like to see the work boots cut in half.
I’d love to see these cut in half! Also Ariat work boots (you’ve cut some in half, but they are the cowboy boot versions. They make lace up, steel toe work boots as well. Go to any 7-11 at 5:15 AM, and you will see a literal line of like 50% Ariat work boots with a wedge sole.) cut in half!
I ordered the square toe boot. By far the best boot I’ve had. Ordered a half a size down and fit perfectly. Quality leather right off the bat and very stylish. Been wearing for 2 1/2 weeks and no break in required. They felt good out the box
I SUUUUUPER want to see the moc toes cut in half. I have a BUNCH of Tecovas, and I’ve been super curious about them, but not enough to spend money on a pair. All the Moctoe boots I’m actually interested in are like redwings or whites, so I’d love to see all the guts and make an actual decision.
As a Texan I didn't realize Tecovas was supposed to be direct to consumer. They have stores all over here in Texas. Just went in to get my brother in law fitted. They are kind of cheap but serviceable to those that just want to stick a toe in, so I guess the comparison to Thursdays works pretty good.
Personally, I think they're overpriced. No complaints!? C'mon Weston. Hecho in Vietnam, these should be no more than $150. $245 is a bit greedy in my opinion.
Tecovas as a whole are like this, so it's par for the course. His comparison to Thursdays is pretty spot on. They both make the production as cheap as possible. They also both cut some corners, but make boots that aren't too bad, especially for someone just getting started. Would I shop from either company? Heck no. That wouldn't stop me from recommending them to someone trying to upgrade from cheap junk. - My go-to western boots are my custom lucchese black gators. Got them as a dress boot predominantly. They were about 3000$ though, so most aren't looking to spend that. I do have some brown chisos ropers and some iron Rangers for more of a daily driver type boots.
I like the cowboy style work boot. They look great, but the Mock toe looks a little big and ocky looking. I understand the idea is comfort but it looks like something Frankenstein would wear. A more slim line front would look better.
Cut em all! Lol do the mocs since their not your size. Been looking at mocs lately. Love my Wingshooter ST in round toe. Looking at their moc, the Perry and would consider the Tecovas if it passes the Rose Anvil test. Have a pair of their Ostrich leather boots and love them.
He criticizes the other brands using synthetic materials for advertising them as higher quality, he said these were priced appropriately for the materials…
Tried the mod toe in store. The outsole in two piece gave me some real bad vibe for longevity. There is a real cushy foamy part and then a real this hard sole . Does not give long durability hope
i think theyre pretty nice for the 200 dollar range but 300 and plus no thanks. I have a pair of "made in the usa" Justin boots that were 180 a while back and I think the fit finish etc is slightly better than the Tecovas. However, the Justins were not as comfortable out the box and took a long time to break in.
How snug is the fit with the removable insoles installed? Tecovas didn’t modify their lasts when they came out with their ranch wear line but stuffed removable insoles in them and they fit way too tight as a result. Did they do the same thing with this work wear line?
Yeah, i got some thursdays because I needed some dress boots to wear once a year and didn’t want to spend 500 on that. They are kinda crappy compared to a blundstone.
@@RjWolf3000 ahhhh I don’t like Thursdays but I suppose the look nice I’d you work in an office place or can shine em up and take the wife to dinner….but I’d recommend the redwing Bachman in black cherry. I just gota pair sliiiightly used for $200. That is a truulye do -it -all boot…office or work shop, church or a night at the pub. Red wing does it alllllll
I don't know if Tony Lama still makes boots that I would like, but I wish the ones I bought several years ago [before Tecovas existed] still fit or could find same exact model in larger size now. Dream on?
so the middle pair are the only ones that might suit my needs since already have half dozen wedge boots or something now, but I find roper mostly meh but those have squishy outsole instead of proper riding heel, etc.
I found their Western boots run small and narrow, so don't know about how much different are the work ones, but almost certainly need wider [speculates].
Tecovas quality has been going downhill fast if you join the groups. They spent all the money on the brick and mortar stores and skyrocketed the prices. I have dropped them completely
I really don't know about work boots that look like cowboy boots. It feels like they are trying to make themselves look like someone that they are not. You are an electrician. Not a cowboy.

Toaster is the bomb diggity. I bet behind the scenes, he's THE BOSS of the place. 😻
I like cats, but hairless cats are just gross.
At $245 for a boot made in Vietnam ?
That's definitely a red flag for me.

Very cool to see *Toaster* 🐈 again. 👍🏻

Woohoo!! Can you PLEASE do the Red Wing Nailseat next?

Could yall please do a review on Rujo cowboy boots?
You should cur Canada West boots some time. Moorby 2817 is practically Iron Ranger at less then $300 but nobody knows about them..
Did you say Toaster?? That cat is adorable.
I like the cowboy style work boot. They look great, but the Mock toe looks a little big and ocky looking. I understand the idea is comfort but it looks like something Frankenstein would wear. A more slim line front would look better.
Those Ropers are fly. With the composite toe I could use them for my work boots. We have to have a reinforced toe.
Cut em all! Lol do the mocs since their not your size. Been looking at mocs lately. Love my Wingshooter ST in round toe. Looking at their moc, the Perry and would consider the Tecovas if it passes the Rose Anvil test. Have a pair of their Ostrich leather boots and love them.
Cut the roper please! Hoping these will be my next work boot
Cut all of them and check out JK’s Western boots too!
HELLO TOASTER!!! He's awesome.
I wish one of these companies make a good Romeo.
Thanks Buddy
Were they leather lined?
Love how you criticize other boots for using synthetic materials but don’t have much to say except for “nice, not bad” when it’s a sponsor 😄
He criticizes the other brands using synthetic materials for advertising them as higher quality, he said these were priced appropriately for the materials…
Nice Greenbrier hat!
The mock for mocktober!
Need to do a review on beck cowboy boots
Nice greenbrier hat!
They also made a new MOC
I'm super upset that these didn't come out a couple months ago. I just bought a pair of Dwight double H boots
Tecovas rugged Chelsea? Hard to find info on what kind of leather they're using
The problem with tecovas and Thursday boots is they need to understand that international shipping helps grow the brand
Hey have you ever tried to cut Lumberjack RIVER Men's leather boots that are common in EU ? How about this kind of boots?! Do they have any Goods?
Relly interested in you cutting apart pull on work boots
What kind of cat is toaster?
Tried the mod toe in store. The outsole in two piece gave me some real bad vibe for longevity. There is a real cushy foamy part and then a real this hard sole . Does not give long durability hope
They look cheap. The outsole looks like it won't last.
Do Olathe cowboy boots please.
Cut the square toe and start a cowboy style work boot series
Cut the mock toe I get not doing all 3

Woah…you pronounced Vietnam how a Vietnamese person would 👍🏽
Tecovas need to be $80 again.
Cut the square toe please. Tecovas is a western boot brand, only makes sense to cut the western work boot equivalent by them.
I have a box cutter ...
vvv :Give Toaster a weekly turkey button
Not a fan of Thursday, Not a fan of Tecovas

Cut the Moc Toe!
Really like those
more hard to boots! all day er day
Tecovas cost more than Thirsty Boots, tho. Neigh much styles I found appealing at all.
I don't know if Tony Lama still makes boots that I would like, but I wish the ones I bought several years ago [before Tecovas existed] still fit or could find same exact model in larger size now. Dream on?
Most people will likely wish t' see inside the wedge?
so the middle pair are the only ones that might suit my needs since already have half dozen wedge boots or something now, but I find roper mostly meh but those have squishy outsole instead of proper riding heel, etc.
I need to clarify SECOND pair since he puts the 3rd pair in the Middle right after I type that.
I found their Western boots run small and narrow, so don't know about how much different are the work ones, but almost certainly need wider [speculates].

moc toe
Good to see the Toaster 🐱! Cowboy boots are gaudy
