I keep going over your videos, they're so easy to understand. Will keep sharing them to people, especially young people who are facing career crossroads and in need of more options and a guide to follow into the UX field. You are calm and easy to follow. Thank you 🙏
I’ve been binging all of your videos. I’m not sure what I want to pivot to at the moment, but thanks for giving beneficial information 😇 I’m trying to narrow it down and transition out of healthcare.
Hi Sharon, I was wondering what your stance on college v.s boot camps would be for entering into the UX design field? When it comes to this growing field do you think it’s imperative to acquire a job with help from the typical college route or could a good quality boot camp do just as well and come off as credible as the standard route (college)? With how fast this field is growing and how many applicants are applying to a single job I wonder if the difference of college or bootcamp is commonly used for weeding out/prioritizing different candidates. I’d really appreciate any advice on this subject. This would help me make the choice of how to delve into the UX field and make a world of a difference in my future decisions/pathway. Thank you so much Sharon for all your amazing, informative videos and hope your day is going great! ❤️
Thank you for sharing, Katrina. I want to get into the UX field but I think enrolling in a Bootcamp can help me however, Bootcamp is expensive and I really can't afford it. I'm just doing a self-paced transitioning but it's not that easy yet not impossible.
@@celicagreen7255 Hey! I'm a graphic designer and I been trying to make the transition to UX/UI for a while now but I lack the motivation lol! My friends (other designers) aren't interested in UX/UI. I would love to connect with you and @uxKima . Maybe we can do this together?!
Thank you for sharing. Your videos are very helpful. I am currently taking the Google UX certification. I had a hard time deciding between a bootcamp and the Google certification. My actual plan is to become a UX writer. Do you have a mentorship program please?

The price tag is Con #7 for me. I already have student loans from grad school. I’ll stick with the self taught method lol
I know right? Self taught is the way 😭
