From my background, I don’t think I’m gonna find things difficult growing into this position. Thanks a bunch Sharon. Adeoye
This was very helpful for me. I graduated with a Graphic Design Degree in 2016 but got pregnant soon after and took a CSR job which I have been at for over 5 years now. I'm finally in a place where I can start working on the career I want. Thank you for this video it has given me much needed inspiration and I feel that I am finally on the right path.

I'm a digital designer, have been for some time now! Actually love it and we're definitely rare in the field. My degrees are in design, but God naturally blessed me with the creative skill set!!

This is so detailed... Had opportunities to learn UI/UX DESIGNING, I don't have a laptop yet... But, would really love to start this journey soon. Thanks for the tips and experience.
I’m a student getting my bs in digital multimedia design. I have a background in graphic design and am currently learning html/css and figma. Id love to hear more about finding jobs after you acquire these skills.
I've been seeing random info about UX design so much lately, and then I came across this vid.. it may be a sign. every time I tried looking into it on my own though it seemed really intimidating and very tech-y. I have a fashion & graphic design background, so I wasn't sure if this was a route I could go down, but you explain everything SO well, & makes the whole field seem less scary haha. thank you 🙏🏾!
Me too. Google is offering a full beginners certificate training that will be considered industry recognition. They are offering it to 100,000 women and minorities. I was like I def need to look into this. Do you want the link?
@SleepyCentral www.google.com/amp/s/www.forbes.com/sites/zackfriedman/2020/07/14/google-scholarships-online-certificates/amp/ If the link doesn’t work. Try to google “sign up for google 100k scholarship faq” or RUclips “google scholarship 100k”. It’s not open yet to sign up for. I think it’s a waiting list or something. They just drop this news in July for during corona.
I’m a UX grad student with an art and fashion background. I totally was intimidated at first, but very excited when I learned more about it. In my views though, design is design. We are all solving various problems with various materials and tools whether fashion, visual, architects, industrial designers, etc! User experience is just one way way to ask questions and problems and form solutions with a strong user focus. With that in mind, I think leveraging your various experiences could be your strength! Good luck on your journey!
This video is so useful. I have started copying to learn, feeling a bit like I was "cheating" or "not learning properly", but I feel so relieved to hear you advise people to do just that. I am trying to go from psychology to UX, trying to teach myself UI and Figma as well as UX. Thanks for giving such concrete, great advice.
This was so motivational - you somehow made everything sound less daunting than it actually is (i’m talking about the amount of stuff you actually have to learn). Really great video and awesome tips, especially about networking and collaborating. Thank u ❤️
Your personality is so so pleasing. You're so beautiful, so knowledgeable, so sweet at talking. You exude such an infectious vibrancy. Thanks so much for this insightful video. I'm starting a paid introductory course tomorrow. The video is so well done, really professional!
I've been interested in UI/UX design but never knew how to go about it. Thanks for the insight. This video has done a lot for me already. I'm in love with your voice too🥰
I am at crossroads because I don’t have any design history at all, except for basic Canva designs I do for my business page . This video right here is such an inspiration and I am definitely giving it a shot ❤
Thanks for being real, pure and down to earth. You are sure inspiring and assuring. Thanks for making this simple and clear. You surely demystify the UIUX. I surely learnt a lot from this and taking lots of insights from your tips. I followed you right away after few seconds of watching this. No regret till the end.
Thank you for this! I actually do not come from a design backgrounder, I work in healthcare benefits administration but I'm interested in a possible career change. I love design and being creative and I need it in my life lol. This may be it!
I am super excited to come your way via this content. I am motivated to learn this Tech skill and you have done justice already to this course . I would like to immerse myself in mentorship channels to learn this skill , pls grant me the opportunity to develop and build my capacity through this course. Thanks to all your efforts this far.
I am so glad I came across your video. I have almost 15 years of experience in healthcare and had done some graphic design in college in the UK so not university level. But was so put off by how expensive it is to go to uni. But your video and simple steps has given me courage to do break into this by myself. Thank you so much and I am now a new subscriber of your channel 😊 . You will definitely hear from me soon to give me feedback on my work.
On my experience on the field and may other fields... You don't need to have a degree on any visual, programming, designing, etc to be a professional on the field with high paying salaries. I only finish high school and I am a Producer, Art Director, UI, UX designer, Artificial Intelligence Designer, Broadcast Motion Graphics Designer and Product Designer. My salary always being higher then graduated and folks with PHD on the field. When I try to hire people on my field I always ask for a DEMO REEL and if the person know how to draw. If they don't have both, I would never hire that person. Now, there are some areas like video editor but even that most companies now requires you to know AE, AI and Photoshop with design skills in place... so again, it goes how much you know how to design and create motion graphics today. If you don't have no of what I said, find a field that you are good at it. Time is priceless!
Thank you for that, I too have a high school diploma with some college. I was debating doing what I truly love versus going back to college and wasting money that I don’t have.
Daeguma I totally agree. I feel that the pandemic has made people realize that we have to spend our time wisely even when choosing something as simple as a career. I’m pursuing an IT degree at the moment, but I have realized overtime my passion for HCI is real! So what’s the point of wasting money at a university? HCI or UX design is most definitely the future, and as she said in the video they’re already making 90k so it’s a no brainer for me🤷🏾♀️
I have a super business idea, but don't have money to fund the ui, UX designer/ website/ app developer. Now I am here... I'm going to painfully take out time to learn all these to grow my idea...
I can’t believe all this information is free. You are a great communicator and gave more helpful guidance than I could ask for. Thanks for the awesome video and resources!
Thank you so much for this video! You are the first youtuber I've found that's provided so many helpful resources. I am new to UI/UX design and I am glad I found your channel
This was incredibly helpful! I’ve been thinking about making the transition from apparel design and this video has given me new hope that it’s the right move for me 🖤
This is such a helpful and practical video on how to get started! I feel comforted that you mentioned we do not need previous experience with design but we do need to start haha. Thank you for the encouragement and resources to get into this UI/UX sphere. You inspire a humble aura of constant self-improvement, positivity and openness to experience, I love that! Have a wonderful day :)

Kerena Only I do please ! This would be very helpful at the moment🙏🏾😩

If the link doesn’t work.
Good luck on your journey!
you look it it once or on facebook, google and other spying sobs will flood you with it. fb follows you off line.
Onye Igbo.... So proud of you 🔥🔥😩😩🔥
YOURE TOO CUTE AND INFORMATIVE! I appreciate you sooooo much
This video is so useful.
Glad to hear this! well done
This was so motivational - you somehow made everything sound less daunting than it actually is (i’m talking about the amount of stuff you actually have to learn). Really great video and awesome tips, especially about networking and collaborating. Thank u ❤️

Thank you for this! I actually do not come from a design backgrounder, I work in healthcare benefits administration but I'm interested in a possible career change. I love design and being creative and I need it in my life lol. This may be it!
so glad this was helpful to you!
How is it after 1 year? My job profile is public administration oriented and I'm thinking of making a switch too lol.
I am super excited to come your way via this content.
I am motivated to learn this Tech skill and you have done justice already to this course .

Thanks to all your efforts this far.
Thank you for your video! i am starting from nothing but a background in Hospitality and Art from back in High School. This is Motivation!
@InteractiveDNA How did you learn so many things on your own ?? That's really impressive
HCI or UX design is most definitely the future, and as she said in the video they’re already making 90k so it’s a no brainer for me🤷🏾♀️
Can you please clarify what it means when you say “how to draw”??
I have a super business idea, but don't have money to fund the ui, UX designer/ website/ app developer.
Now I am here... I'm going to painfully take out time to learn all these to grow my idea...
I can’t believe all this information is free. You are a great communicator and gave more helpful guidance than I could ask for. Thanks for the awesome video and resources!
