Same. After years as working as a software developer and scrum master, I feel like a product designer is my true calling.
I'd suggest first to do nothing, so it'd multiply your -100000 by 0. That's a huge lead!!

Hate to burst your bubble but 35 is considered ancient in tech. While age discrimination is illegal, it's hard to prove and it's rampant in tech.
Me 3 … or 4?! I’m in my mid-50’s and in grad school currently taking a UX/Human Factors class…. That said, Sharon’s tips are fabulously specific and on point! So encouraged and thankful for her and all of you.

Great first video, Sharon! Big Thumbs Up! I really needed this. I was laid off a couple months into the pandemic and am now working a part-time temp job doing digital content production while also attempting to transition into UX design. I have a strong background in technical writing, document editing and photography, though of course those talents have a somewhat limited applicability in UX/UI design. So I've been looking for free/really inexpensive learning resources, and the list you've thoughtfully included in the "Show More" drop-down page is just what I need. Thank you so much! I'm a digital designer, have been for some time now! Actually love it and we're definitely rare in the field. My degrees are in design, but God naturally blessed me with the creative skill set!!

This was very helpful for me. I graduated with a Graphic Design Degree in 2016 but got pregnant soon after and took a CSR job which I have been at for over 5 years now.
