I love that Lyle correctly guesses the plot to "The Indian in the Cupboard" so he thought it was fake.
I like to think he knows it's a real movie, but tries to make it seem like him and Chris are fucking with Zach to also fuck with Chris.
This just marks the progression of Zach going from a Gaslighting master, to getting Gaslit by everyone because everyone else realizes that Zach is just as, if not more gullible, than everyone else.
True but after the *incident* Zach hasn’t been the same, still has trust issues to this day.
Zach saying "Oh my Heavens" and Chris calling Zach a "fucking scumbag" are moments I'll always cherish.
The scumbag bit felt so genuine. Zach laughing immediately made it a golden moment for me.

I only remember a few scenes from it, but mostly I remember cringing at the part when the kid imagines the native american dude being full-sized, and then he writes a paper about it for school. When Lyle gaslights, he says things very nonchalantly or goes the reverse to make others think they're being gaslit.

I love how whenever Zach is gaslighting he's very levelheaded and never lets a crack out until Chris inevitably calls him out; but if he isn't gaslighting and Chris thinks he is, Zach just gets super defensive instantly lmaooo. This is how I always know whether or not he's lying. Chris on the other hand will employ any form of lie or deceptive tactic for his gaslighting. The best part is that both of them are still just as believable.
The best part about "gnome-struck" is when I first heard it I had to go back to check if Tomar actually said it. That Irish hooligan gas-lit me through a video
The grain of truth behind Herculad is that there really is a scene of a kid dressed as Hercules, in the movie. During the montage where Hercules is succeeding, we briefly see Hercules attending a play where a kid is reenacting the scene of him fighting the Hydra. That's probably what Zach was remembering

I grew up in Britain and I was told about Lapland as well. I always thought that The North Pole was where Santa worked from and where his business operated, but Lapland would be where he'd actually live the rest of the year. Considering he can travel across the world in one night, it didn't seem implausible that he'd live in a place in Finland and travel to the North Pole when business dictated.
