She was so inconsistent and always wanted to argue about bs or nothin. Just little to no respect for me. I’ll tell her things that bothered me but she’d make excuses or lie and say she would change, then maybe for a few weeks later she’d go back to secretly doing things. Still maintaining friendships with old flings or guys she dated just a bunch of drama from her and her family, lazy unless it was something that was about her or if she really wanted to do something she was gonna do it no matter my input or thoughts or lie about it to get her way. Mind you this was a regular family doctor. Not a licensed psychiatrist or therapist and it’s only so much he will know since that’s not his field of experience. Knowing her that was a lie too. Stay away from these ppl when you date ppl just constantly look for red flags in those first 3 months. Now no one is perfect but if you feel like those flags aren’t something you can’t tolerate once you’ve figured out who that person is. Run as fast as you can. You might have just saved a lot of time, money, and heartache, possibly even your life.

It’s been 2 weeks and it’s has gotten worse.. he gave me a black eye swell lip, swell my hand, he body slammed me twice and it’s was terrible, I had to call the police, made a complaint he got locked up we went to court he was charged for abuse. One the 14th July we are going to court for a legal separation and bound over the peace. I have never been more happy that he’s out my house and eventually out my life… I don’t think I can ever date again. I’m scared of what’s out there. I disagree with the “change” one. Sometimes partners pretend to love you and then violate your trust with lies and deceit. There is nothing wrong with asking them to change these behaviors. Asking them to quit lying and to stop treating you bad is not manipulative. Sometimes change needs to happen. If i didn’t ask them to change these behaviors and just tolerated it...that would be me not caring to save the relationship. If someone presents themselves one way at the beginning and then lies about who they are...asking them to change is very reasonable.

She was so inconsistent and always wanted to argue about bs or nothin. Just little to no respect for me. Still maintaining friendships with old flings or guys she dated just a bunch of drama from her and her family, lazy unless it was something that was about her or if she really wanted to do something she was gonna do it no matter my input or thoughts or lie about it to get her way. She started out so loving and caring and attentive. Thought she was my other half until I figured out all the lies, games, and deceit she had been projecting on to me.
She knew she didn’t deserve me but would try to mirror my behaviors to make it seem like she was really accepting my leadership and role as a man. It only would last for so long seeing as how she couldn’t stay consistent. Just a waste of my time and life, I kept it 💯 with this girl never cheated, probably did her better than any of her past guys as she claimed but yet that’s the trash she treated the best I’m sure of seeking their validation.
Her family is toxic so it makes sense to see why she was attracted to more toxic men. I grew up out of all that and I realized I was dating a childish girl not a woman she definitely was dealing with a form of npd or bpd. The crazy part is her bf got diagnosed with bpd and I told her she needed to get checked out too.
She claimed her doctor said she had no issues with that because he tested her for that. Mind you this was a regular family doctor. Not a licensed psychiatrist or therapist and it’s only so much he will know since that’s not his field of experience. Knowing her that was a lie too. Stay away from these ppl when you date ppl just constantly look for red flags in those first 3 months. Now no one is perfect but if you feel like those flags aren’t something you can’t tolerate once you’ve figured out who that person is. Run as fast as you can. You might have just saved a lot of time, money, and heartache, possibly even your life.

It’s been 2 weeks and it’s has gotten worse.. he gave me a black eye swell lip, swell my hand, he body slammed me twice and it’s was terrible, I had to call the police, made a complaint he got locked up we went to court he was charged for abuse. One the 14th July we are going to court for a legal separation and bound over the peace. I have never been more happy that he’s out my house and eventually out my life… I don’t think I can ever date again. I’m scared of what’s out there. I have a good heart and only want to be love appreciated and respected.. is that so hard???😢

When you’ve seen that person fall under drug addictions, is it not your job to want the best for them? Staying and demanding change instead of just throwing away the relationship may be dumb but I would never call it fake love.

Not always. My partner was the one always on social media flirting and exchanging pictures with other females. I asked for a break so he could do what he wanted and leave me out of it. No point in having a relationship with multiple energies in it.

This is really informal for people who don’t have a boyfriend. They know what to look for in a boy or girl to show that they don’t love you.
This video helped solidify for me what I've been coming to terms with for the last year or so: all of the men I've been in relationships with never truly loved me - likely at all, as evidence suggests. Five relationships and not one of them honestly loved me - certainly not when it would have mattered. Love is so disappointing. I'm just done with it. My life was so much better before I started dating and I was a better person (not so damaged and hurt). I had hope and dreams before I ever gave love a chance. I disagree with the “change” one. Sometimes partners pretend to love you and then violate your trust with lies and deceit. There is nothing wrong with asking them to change these behaviors. Asking them to quit lying and to stop treating you bad is not manipulative. Sometimes change needs to happen. If i didn’t ask them to change these behaviors and just tolerated it...that would be me not caring to save the relationship. If someone presents themselves one way at the beginning and then lies about who they are...asking them to change is very reasonable.

To my greatest surprise, I had a similar heartbreaking experience with my psychotic husband, even with all the signs and clear red flags he'll still confidently deny it to my face. He also lied about the affair he was having…I spoke to my sister about this and she referred me to a friend of hers who happens to be some tech weirdo from her school. This guy remotely linked my husband's phone directly to mine without him knowing... I found out tons of disturbing texts, photos and videos, I was right about his secret affair and still feel a bit sad that I was reluctant at first... I'm just glad that it's all over now and I've moved on from such a heartless man
