I saw it for sale on FB Marketplace awhile back but didn't want to rat you out. 😄 You may have really enjoyed taking a different path all together by keeping it relatively stock and autocrossing or tracking it. Both of you! ... my GF is also a car girl and can't wait to start tracking in a slower group. I've been tracking my cars, and now Mach 1, since the early 90's and can't get enough. @@saleen367 you’re right it would have been fun. I think I may have arrived at the same conclusion. Modify a cheaper Mustang for track use to avoid the car payment and overall risk to such an expensive item. Having a gf/wife who is into cars is the best!
Why not keep both? I still have my S197 but have debated about what to do with it since getting the S650. Hand it down, drag it, track it, drift it or sell it? However, I do know that I won’t be selling it to take a step backwards like you did with your S550. But I can’t argue with your decision either. The 3V is kick ass in many of the ways you mentioned and I’m pretty sure that’s why I still have it.
@@BULZAYE honestly it comes down to money and qty of vehicles. If the Mach 1 was paid off sure but I still had 2+ yrs of payments and I have a 64 Comet and a 78 Power Wagon Im always tinkering with on my channel. Hoping to continue to build/grow my channel and I was getting to a dead end with the Mach 1 vs. what I can do with e everything else :)
@@truckandroll989 Understood. I look forward to your S197 content. I know the Coyote is all the rage these days but the 3V can run toe to toe with it (price not withstanding). But as far as the exhaust note of the S650 goes (better than the S550 methinks), the S197 is still KING and like I said I own both. ;)
I have a Bolt EUV i bought it new to go to work is now with 47k miles in 2 years zero problems i charge at home with my solar panels in my opinion is the perfect commuter my only complaint that's limited to 92 MPH when I'm late i wish it could go faster 😂😂😂😂
@@Cali4rniadreaming hahaha seriously I love my Bolt! Its honestly pretty fun when you drive it in sport mode. My only complaint, and Im curious if you have this issue, is in hotter temperatures my charge often gets delayed resulting in a less than full charge by the time I have programmed. I wonder if its specific to my setup, climate, or maybe just a faulty charger. Thanks for watching 🙏
I think that's right, for the first year I worked at night and arrived at home at 4am but now I'm working day and arrive at 2pm the other day when I got home was 102° outside and I charge the Bolt outside there's no room in inside the garage when I plug in a loud fan noise started and I unplug because I have never heard that fan soo loud, I also just now program the charging to avoid high peak hours and I notice that my car wouldn't be 100% by 1:30 am when I have to leave the house soo yes I think there's probably more cooling Cycles that's why it takes longer I'm not planning to sell this car because I want to see how far it will go without any problems so far so good 👍🏻
I can understand a plan to save money in this economy, I probably would have bought nothing and build up a cash account for a better toy... I can't go back to that style Mustang after having the S550 and 650s, enjoy the car though.
@@SHADOWBLACKs650 yea I totally get it. The majority of my Mustangs have been SN95s and Im not sure whether its the cage, suspension mods, or what but this particular S197 feels rock solid. I cant wait to feel it with a smaller wheel and a bit more feedback. If it slides as good as it hugs the corners I’ll be in good shape!
