Maybe we will get to see her pregnant with baby A in season two. This is a full year after things got better between them and Anthony was getting ready to find a bride. In book 2, Daphne is pregnant with her first amd Simon is super protective of her. So, we might still see her pregnancy.
I was kinda wondering why they chose to change the order as well...they could have made something of them trying for a son. Maybe they did this to focus on others next season...like the books did. Either way, I'd like more of these two.
I don’t know but I was also so happy for Violet in this moment!!! She and Lady Danbury were really the biggest shippers when it came to these two, Violet just really loved Simon from beginning to the end, she always wanted “Him” to be the one!....and I’m glad Simon told her he will be keeping that family tradition she and her husband started! That made me happy to see her so happy!💕
Me too. Violet succeeded in getting her children to find loving partners and happy families of their own. ❤ Granted there was a lot of struggle, a lot of pain, obstacles and even betrayal along the way(and on both sides on some occasions), but nonetheless, she has succeeded. 😊

In the book they have 5 kids, 3 daughters and 2 sons…i don’t mind that they switched the order, i think it fits that it should be a boy since it completes simon’s story of not wanting to give his legacy an heir …wish we could see Simon with the kids in future seasons, even if just a guest appearance

I read that the bee signifies how this series showcases many powerful "queen bee" woman like Violet, Queen Charlotte, Lady Danbury, Whistledown etc... but I made that same connection with the Viscount's death by bee sting before I read more on it.
Well the baby will have lots of aunts and uncles but only one grandmother in violet but lady Danbury could maybe play a grandmother sort of role to since she helped to raise Simon.
So that’s probably why they stayed in London so their son can see his grandmother. I hope they have daphne and Simon raising their son and not leave it to nanny’s especially since she wanted a child so much she should be the one taking care of him.
i do wish they could have shown the pregnancy journey a little bit and seen her going into labour. i love how attentive simon is and being there to hold her hand, being in awe of his newborn, compared to how he felt over a year ago irs so heartwarming to see him open up his heart.
