- The Toyota Camry is the most expensive Toyota sedan sold in India. Even so, the car’s image has always been one of reliability, comfort & little else. It has always been the safe and even boring bet for the budget, offering the Corolla experience in a bigger package. Of course, the hybrid powertrain was a selling point too. Now, the Camry has more tech, a more striking design and more panache. Has the Camry’s image finally been overhauled?
Toyota Camry Hybrid 2019 Price and Variants:
The 2019 Toyota Camry Hybrid has been priced at Rs 36.50 lakh. While this is an introductory price, it’s also lower than the outgoing version by Rs 27,000. The 2019 Toyota Camry petrol hybrid is available only one fully loaded variant and will not be offered with a petrol-only or diesel engine.
2019 Toyota Camry Hybrid Specs and Features:
The 2019 Toyota Camry Hybrid gets features like full LED headlamps, LED fog lamps and LED brake lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, a power-reclinable rear seat and a tilt and slide moonroof. There’s also 3-zones of climate control, a rear armrest with integrated touch functions to control the AC, audio, rear sunshade and seat recline and powered front seats with ventilation.

The 2019 Toyota Camry Hybrid is available in the following colours - Platinum White Pearl, Silver Metallic, Attitude Black, Burning Black, Red Mica, Phantom Brown and Graphite Metallic.
Toyota Camry Hybrid 2019 Performance:
The 2019 Toyota Camry Hybrid is powered by a 2.5 litre, 4 cylinder petrol engine that works in tandem with a hybrid electric motor. The petrol engine produces 178PS of power and 221Nm of torque, while the electric motor generates 120PS and 202Nm. The combined system output stands at 218PS, with power transmitted via a CVT.

I live in Canada and I bought the xle with the v6. Very luxurious and the v6 is very powerful. Definitely a fast car. You would never know it’s a Camry.
you've got to admit Toyota makes reliable cars good for a long run and they listen to their customers issues and rectify

Camry is so underrated and overlooked by most of us Indian luxury car costumers. Many of us people just fo fr the 3 series or the c class just fr the badge. Let’s be honest most Indian luxury car buyers prefer luxury over sporty drive any day, they just go the ridiculously stiff set 3 series or annoyingly so uncomfortable c class. Camry is the perfect blend of sportyness and comfort at the same time and with that u get the added benefit of the hybrid tech. Fun fact: there r more camrys sold in us than maruthi altos sold in india. For a reason right. I was an owner of 3 series GT for abt 4 years after then i switched to camry. And i was impressed by camry more than i was with the beemer.

3 series and c class are around 15 lakh costier (on road), don't think that comparison will make sense!! Superb, Passat, A3 are in its league
