This is your best work. I was holding out for the charger, but I think I might go ahead and purchase that $800 set of guages for my Bricknose to get massive entries for this truck.
The name for this truck is “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it”, my dream truck, it’s BEAUTIFUL just as is. You are the Demi God of trucks. Wouldn’t have it any other way. God Bless 🤙🏼❤️🤠
I know this is an older video but I'll comment and thumbs up anyway. I love the beginning rant about older trucks never being done. I have an older truck. I lost my love for tinkering on it back in 2015. It sat for a bunch of years and I took a break. I started a frame off a couple years ago, I'm so close to being done now and I'm loving the pursuit of perfection again even knowing that it unattainable.
I will admit, I was leery when you first posted this truck after getting it because of the interior and tire/wheel combo it had. But man is it awesome now. The work you did on that interior really makes it stand out. And I love the white wheels.
OMGOODNESS!!! That right there IS the TOP DOG...KING OF THE HILL..THE ABSOLUTE BEST OF THE BEST!!!! I'm hoping I'm still signed up for the $10/month subscription with Hodson Motors, so that I might have just an INKLING of a chance to wn it!!!
Just did my tier one membership, such a beautiful truck and great build. Agreed every time the videos leave me saying this has to be the best one yet! Thanks for the opportunity at dream rig.
No they are not. They are terrible to keep alignment, they wear tires out, they require stupid cams to set the caster and camber. I beams in a 2 wheel drive are fine but the 4x4 twin traction beam as ford calls it, is a pile of shit
YOU nailed it on the head man.... the whole point of being in the automotive hobby is that the project is NEVER finished. I for one would road trip this thing 2K miles home and love every imperfection on the way simply because it would allow me to tinker and make it my own over time. I really hope whoever wins this has that mindset, it's an absolute stunner of a truck and you can tell you guys put a lot into her.
I had a 72 F250 showroom, but 2WD or I would still own it. I now have a 2000 F350 w/7.3 6 sp manual so you have my 2 time dream truck. Sure wish you were selling her. BTW- my 72 was the Explorer F250 model and I used it under a camper for 20 years.
Hey man I know you’re not a huge fan of the dash and interior set up but I think it looks pretty good and I’ve never seen something quite like it! Keep up your amazing work
My father drove a ‘77 F250 highboy, I have fond memories of that truck. Unfortunately my father passed away while I was a young boy and by the time I was driving it was too rusted away to take a drive in. It’s my dream to find a ‘70s Ford pickup to help me go down memory road. Seems like it’s slowly less plausible everyday - hard to find 😢
A steering damper in and of itself is not a bandaid...people like to use them as bandaids for worn out components, but a proper damper for the size tires you're running makes driving far more enjoyable. No damper or a damper that's too light and you can get a lot of feed back and wandering when hitting bumps, even if every single component, from the steering box to the king pins, are brand new and in perfect condition, and a damper helps prevent all that.
Have this same color 72 and the plan is for it to go onto my 77 High Boy chassis. Swapping in the Cummins 5.9, Allison trans will bolt to the divorced 205 TC. Should be beautiful. The 77 was a beaut. but has rust I don't want to deal with.
That is how a classic truck should be done if your going to make a hd diesel!! Still looks original even though it's mounted on a newer frame made with the best designed ford trucks ever made both bumpside ford paired with a obs ford diesel!!💗💗 wish I owned that truck!!😭😭
people are ungrateful I would love to have this truck classic outside bump side comfront inside great job married everything really nice you should remind your guys how talented they are
Beautifu truck, the fuel tank iunder the bed is more for a safty feature. Back in the day they didn't think much a work truck might bring dafety issues with the fuel tank behind your back.
Nicely done interior is fucking bad ass love the fact that you kept the crank windows I know they make power window kits for a truck that old but sometimes that means eliminating the wing window or keeping the wing window and then having electric window problems, I like the crank windows classic look. Sorryvintage looks fucking sweet nothing is fucking very nice dude
idk i think the twin I beam feels better then the A frame in my opinion i have a 97 f250 and had a 2006 f150 the 97 rides better around corners. Edit What an amazing truck tho it looks soo good
This thing is so cool I did a tier two subscription just to get a chance to win and anybody says that they're nitpicking it's just insecure cuz they probably couldn't even take them a wheel and tire off their car
I can’t believe people nit picking your shit, they are unhappy in their lives and we should pray for them I guess but it reminds me of a song… a friend of mine named Riley Hodson built this truck and he told me it was the perfect country and western give away and i wrote back and said it is not the perfect give away because it doesn’t have a momma, a train, a dog or prison… now I gotta listen to that song hahaha btw, it is the perfect truck, I Love this truck
First time watching your channel I don’t care about anything that might be nipped on this fucking thing. This thing is fucking beautiful dude all Ford truck 100% Ford that’s all the freaking matter dude wow
87-91 is brick nose, 92-97 is obs, well at first it was obs for the diesel community, to differentiate between the first Gen powerstroke and the superduty trucks with a powerstroke. 67-72 is a bumpside, 73-79 is a dentside. Hope that clarifies
Came for the truck but stayed for the scenery. That’s a beautiful piece of property you’ve got.
Where are they out of? Utah west Colorado?
@@lawrencerodebackLooks like Nevada
I love the color combo. That is what I am going with once I get my 72 to the body shop.
This is your best work. I was holding out for the charger, but I think I might go ahead and purchase that $800 set of guages for my Bricknose to get massive entries for this truck.
I doubt I'll win, but i already ordered myself a shirt. Maybe the OBS gods will smile upon me.
um no because you just called a bumpside a obs!!!😤
@@justinraystyles3537 hahaha
@@justinraystyles3537 but its got the heart of the obs

It’s being given away again. The guy who won it gave it up for charity I believe. You have until 9/30 to get entered.
It is an absolute beauty you nailed it so happy to see this video. Great job guys
I will admit, I was leery when you first posted this truck after getting it because of the interior and tire/wheel combo it had. But man is it awesome now. The work you did on that interior really makes it stand out. And I love the white wheels.
1972 Ford pickup is my favorite. This one is a beauty. Thanks for the video. 👍
Can’t wait till receive the delivery of this awesome beauty
I got a 72 Ford e300 supervan daily driver I'm 65 and I still am in love with your truck 💓
This is a wonderful looking truck and a one of a kind truck. This truck looks better than the Ford Raptor Truck. 😊
OMGOODNESS!!!

so Sick!!!! lets get another winner here in Vegas!!
Just did my tier one membership, such a beautiful truck and great build. Agreed every time the videos leave me saying this has to be the best one yet! Thanks for the opportunity at dream rig.
Had to comment again about the interior, oh my is this truck a dream come true.
Twin i beams are damn good strong suspensions! Superduty 4x2 still uses it! Stamped steel a arms suck!

This thing is clean! Nice Truck man!
Another great build .. awesome work guys on a beautiful truck.
Wow That is a Great Truck Super Reliable and Stout Love it 100% American 🇺🇸
Hands down thee best truck so far.. I've been waiting on this one.. Its coming home with me

That truck is beautiful
I can't tell you how much I love this. Awesome rig...
It is perfect! You guys did an awesome job! No nitpicking necessary! 😂
Hey man I know you’re not a huge fan of the dash and interior set up but I think it looks pretty good and I’ve never seen something quite like it! Keep up your amazing work
I have one of those license plate steps! Now I just need the rest of the truck.
What a sick build! Color scheme is sweet.
Wish there was more information on the chassis swap. Interested in doing the same thing 60-72 body on a 95-97 obs 7.3 chassis.
Perfection; I love all steel pickups. One of the best conversion trucks I’ve seen. I’d love to win that.
Love the truck
Truck is killer!
Well done !
I’m so pissed I missed this giveaway. Never saw or seen this and this is a dream build outside of it being a ‘70
Once again... I'm in love! This would be a dream come true to drive :)
Well said in the beginning! 👍👍 what an amazing build. My current bucket list truck. Thanks for the inspiration
Beautiful truck. Great job. I love it.
The only thing I would change is I’d put a stock 72 dash back in it and digital gauges to look more original
Can't hate on this beast!
You should never criticize a giveaway. That’s just wrong. Great and I mean GREAT truck! The winner will be very fortunate! Awesome job!

They are out there. You just have to be patient and be ready to jump when one comes available.
Another great job! Beautiful truck 😮😊
Lmao dingle berry😂😂😂
Beautiful truck bud
You guys are awesome!
Geez I want this truck!
Hell, I’d love to have it, dingle berries and all!!!!
If we win this, im driving my 88 7.3 Supercab all the way from Kentucky. This one would be my wifes truck!
Nice build fellars.
Got me some console Jerky coming up here to Canada.
Already got some entries. This is the one for me!
I love the interior

Now that’s a truck!
Would be nice to get price breakdown of each job. Interior, drivetrain, body, etc.
The west coast mirrors are the best
Great job guys!
Thank you for helping me with the color!!!

Great paint choice !
Love it ! I’m to late to win. I still love it first time seeing it ! That’s what I would like to have ! Cool 😎
Trying to find me a welding rig. I'm 20 and trucks like these are hard to come by nowadays. I wish the best for everybody tho!!
Awesome truck!!!!
What model AMP steps work best on the old trucks? I have a 1979 regular cab I would like to install them on.
Nice truck. Not a ford guy but it just looks great.
I had one of those bumper steps on a 1 ton G30 van. Wish Id kept it when I sold the van.
This truck is really pretty cool. The only thing I would remove are the walrus teeth. Other than that, it's great!!
Don't listen 2 comments. People can b lame. That's a sweet troka. I have a tuck that is work in progress. I'll probably never finish her.

mine mine mine my absolutely a dream come true
7.3 is the most reliable diesel engine ever built.
Could the tail gate emblem be compatible for f150?
Killer , hood pins.
I bought a 96 f250 to build somethin just like this. To win this would be perfect.
How do you enter to win this beautiful truck?
Wow I can’t believe y’all had dirt on the tire tread
I like it!
I was really excited for the test drive only to find out I have to wait a week.😂
to hell with the nay sayers, thats a nice rig id be proud to own
I’ve never wanted a truck so bad in my life. I wanted to do this same thing to a bullnose
I want it. Im a small town little country church pastor from NY with a secret desire. Old trucks.
Wow
I frickin love the interior. Seems like it needs the yellow lights on the roof. Maybe not.
I want that truck how do I get a chance?
This thing is so cool I did a tier two subscription just to get a chance to win and anybody says that they're nitpicking it's just insecure cuz they probably couldn't even take them a wheel and tire off their car
I would have put in a 6.7, painted it red, make it extended cab, rockwell axles.
I had that exact truck. Same everything, Mine had the 390 V8. It was a beast, until I crashed it.
If it was 4x4 then your truck never came from the factory with the 390. 2wd got the 390, 4x4 got the 360 from 67-77 in the f250.
Is this registered as a 1972 or 1995?
72!
Any project like this is almost always licensed by the year of the cab not the chassis
Dope!
Nice 🥶
First time watching your channel I don’t care about anything that might be nipped on this fucking thing. This thing is fucking beautiful dude all Ford truck 100% Ford that’s all the freaking matter dude wow
Very nice
I believe the term is bullnose
Bullnose are 80-86 ford trucks.
87-91 is brick nose, 92-97 is obs, well at first it was obs for the diesel community, to differentiate between the first Gen powerstroke and the superduty trucks with a powerstroke. 67-72 is a bumpside, 73-79 is a dentside. Hope that clarifies
When does the giveaway end?
May 28th at midnight!
