I love the factory dash. Why anyone would put all the time and effort into swapping an OBS dash into such a classic truck is BEYOND my comprehension. I'm a tier 2 member, been supporting Riley for awhile now, like a couple years. This is more of what I like to see, for sure. Maybe a little more work on the chassis, removing some rust and doing some things to help it stay nice. But I love this truck, and hope to win.
Those grille inserts were only available on 76 and 77. 76 front signals were clear, and 77 were amber. That is definitely a '1977 Model year' grille, or at least, the inserts and signals are. 73-75 grilles were a different insert, but ALL the same. In fact, Ford was charged, found guilty, and paid a 5 million dollar fine to the federal government for not changing enough between model years 1973,4 5. 1973-6 all had thin and taller 'F100' chrome markings below in-dent body line just in front of doors on front fender, like this one. 77-9 had short fat F150 Custom' just above in-dent body line on front fenders. Very nice unit. My first few units were these years. Absolutely loved them. Thanks for this vid.
Well this is good info . I have club cab 78 f350 no smog required for the 350 but yhe 460 can drive past a gas station. But drove it 10 year in 90s, still have it sitting. now i have 2000 7.3 club cab 4+4 shrt bed. Love this thing.
I wonder if this was a factory Highboy. I have a 1973 F250 factory Highboy and I did a full frame off resto on it years ago. They are really great looking truck. Someone's going to be so damn happy to win that.
Man! That is a beautiful build. Love the tire and wheel combo! This truck is similar to my truck with the exception that my truck is not converted to a diesel. Very awesome build and excited to see who gets it.
Absolutely LOVE this truck. Well done! I'm a tried and true 7 tree fan and in a dentside, so much win. I'm not a lucky person at all but I entered and will hope the universe shines on me. It looks nice against the mountains and would enjoy tootling around the mountains of Colorado!
The only thing I saw that it needs is steering stabilizer shocks.. I saw the front wheel kinda wobble.. other than that that truck rock’s awesome job 👍
I literally sold the exact same truck like 4 years ago. 1973 F250 that I converted to a 1996 f350 7.3 zf5. Same parts, same brands, same everything. Mine was blue though 😅
Nope… Sorry… The RAMCHARGER 🐏 was the BEST GIVE AWAY💪💪💪 Moving on though ya’ll are TOP NOTCH! Giving credit to the original Hard work creator👏👏👏 Your a Grade A for being a good guy! I’ll admit that I cancelled my membership after the RamCharger 🐏 😢 but, this truck I started it back up 🥶
Once '76 and newer gas to diesel conversion goes through Ref inspection and becomes diesel registered, it will be SMOG exempt in California for up to and including '97-year model.
Only if the title indicates that it's a diesel. I get the Nevada dmv to change the title to diesel for me for this reason, but in California if it's a 75 the fuel type on the title doesn't matter.
I don’t understand why people rinoline the inside of a classic the entire truck is original with its dings and dents and go and put spray in bedliner the inside of the bed is supposed to look like it was used just like the tailgate the bedliner will never be able to be removed
In my opinion, it just makes the bed most usable and keeps your stuff from sliding around. But I don't mind it either way, but We gave our followers the option, and an overwhelming majority wanted bedliner. Like 90%. So we did it.

Yea the frame is pretty crusty looking. I wish they would get it wire wheeled and painted.
Oh my....I will be all over entering this one...man....I always wanted a highboy. Well done!!
My first truck was a vintage 76 F250 from my parents. It was the ugliest brown but man did I love that truck! Definitely entering for this one too!
My dream truck is a 1976 ford with a 7.3 power stroke. I just love the look of the 70s ford trucks. I am 14 And this truck is beautiful
I hope you get your truck young man ! 👋
@ thank you sir. I really appreciate that
Absolutely love the period correct vibe definitely leaving it just like that. Such a sick daily
What a gem, I could only dream to be the one driving this beautiful machine home
What an absolute dream truck, the perfect dent side. What a wonderful job by your team. Bought 21 chances I hope to take this home.

This truck would look sick pulling my trailer 🤔 love the character it has.

Definitely could use a win this time around
As a chevy k5 owner that thing is freakin beautiful 😍!
It would be a dream to fly out to Vegas and drive this beauty home to Texas!
My dad moved the family from Indiana to Arizona in the 80s in a very similar truck.
This is super classy. Putting my hat in the ring for this one.
Love the perfect imperfections!
Beautiful truck absolutely stunning
Seriously beautiful truck. I was drooling the entire video

Right on!
I’d love to make that road trip back to Alabama in this beauty!

This is my dream truck
Damn thats a nice truck
Beautiful truck
She’s a beauty…. My birthday year…. Let’s go!
Love the color scheme on this truck. Though really, dent sides are one of those trucks that look great in any color.
Love ❤️ that Truck 🛻
Idk which I like better the blue 7.3 or this one. Both beautiful trucks
The only thing I saw that it needs is steering stabilizer shocks.. I saw the front wheel kinda wobble.. other than that that truck rock’s awesome job 👍
Yeah, the opening couple seconds of the video, you can see that front end wobbling around pretty significantly.
Yeah that washboard road would make the solid axle steering bounce back and forth regardless, but a stabilizer would make it less noticeable for sure!
@@hodsonmotors I still entered to win that bad boy 😉 but I will put a stabilizer on before I drive it home 👍
If I could win one thing this truck would be a dream come true.
Make trucks this cool again!
thats a beautiful truck. great job. i will win one of your trucks one day
Can't wait to pick this beauty up !
Thanks everyone ❤
My dream truck, only if it had original bench seats
I literally sold the exact same truck like 4 years ago. 1973 F250 that I converted to a 1996 f350 7.3 zf5. Same parts, same brands, same everything. Mine was blue though 😅
Should find the buyer and tell them to sell it to me so we can give it away 😂
@hodsonmotors I've got a green 1973 7.3 on 08 superduty coil axles I'm working on right now I'd sell ya when it's driveable
@@humboldthillbilly1848keep me in mind when it's done! And don't spend too much on the cosmetics until we've talked!
Great find ❤ the trucks you giveaway
I'm curious what axle gears it has ? Think if i won, I'd drop back to 35" tires but its an amazing looking truck like it is
We'll post a driving video later talking about the gearing and how it does on the highway! They're 4.10s I believe. But now I gotta go double check.
Probably 3.73's. Most 350's came with that ratio unless it was a dually. 4.10 are way too high for 37's especially if you plan on towing.
95-97 ford f350s only had two ratios, 3.55 and 4.10s. This is a 4.10 truck.

If the manufacturers ever brought back this bodystyle.... I would be more broke than I already am! :)
Except that truck requires a cowboy hat, and the required “hat room”.
Really great build !
Truck is perfect
Gotta see the "driving" video too, Riley...I wanna hear the pipes...THE PIPES MAN...PLAY THE PIPES!

Once it's "mode of propulsion" is changed on the title here, it becomes SMOG exempt.
Does the guy who made the seats have a website?
Very Nice
Beautiful truck, I live in Oregon and can't find the name of the shop you mentioned did the conversion. Do you have a link. Thanks
I don't think Dylan is a formal shop owner, (he very well could be his work is awesome) but look for him on Instagram @mintonyes_conversions
@@hodsonmotors Thank you
LORD KNOWS! 🫡
Perfect
What is the towing capacity, please.
You guys going to do a driving video with the Muffler on???
What is the conversion shop name in Oregon?
need a bench seat
I have a stupid question. Is it titled as a 75 or a 97?
75!
Bro you’re in Vegas ?!
Wow super
My god I'm in love 😍🤤
Save the manuals
Fingers crossed and purchases made... please !
What is the name of the company that did the original conversion? Do they have others for sale? Im still entering!
Winning this for my dad
Nice!
Does it have a lift kit on it?
It's all stock springs, but the Front shackle reversal adds 2" of lift
@@hodsonmotors is it an OBS F250 chassis?
@@keelandavisyes, F350
Do you know anyone who can 3d print the cupholder roller cover that is missing on so many of those center consoles?
I do not. And I am sad that mine is missing the "garage door"
Is that a first generation 7.3 IDI engine or the next gen 7.3 engine?
Next gen, 7.3 powerstroke.
Tint the windows. Maybe in Gold mirror look. Would fit the paint scheme.
I had a 78 XLT two tone green. My 460 was a beast. I would love this truck. How do I enter?
Go buy anything from our site! Hodsonmotors.com
I'd call it Dewey. Like mt dew
just put my entry in. hopfully only buying a keychain is enough lol.
Same man good luck
My first truck was a 76 metallic green camper special I'll be spending way too much on merch for this one bitchen truck fellas!!!!
Those side mirrors look like they can see the rear license plate.
towing gooseneck trailer on new video?
I don't have a gooseneck trailer to be honest 😂
May I win please.
Scott
Your odds are as good as anyone else who is participating!
what a sexy piece of metal...♥

So nice but it needs to be level..drives me crazy had to stop this video short. Do you have 5,000 lbs in the bed?
This is a scam, they're giving a truck away.
No good shots of the engine bay..... the only semi good one was at the end and then a giant thumbnail pops up and blocks it.
Go check out all the pics of it on the website!
you sound like a used car salesman but instead of being on a lot.. you are using a giveway proxy.
Please do not put black rhino wheels on this truck
