Not bad, camping, motorcycling and good coffee. Great review and entertaining I might buy one myself. Keep up the videos and the site reviews I always enjoy watching them
I have the same table (different brand) as the other commenter said, stable and heat proof/ resistant; good for cooking right outside your tent and low enough to use under a tent vestibule. I prefer it to my roll up fabric one. Mine came with a a Sort of cordura canvas sleeve which was a bonus. Nice review!
I have the same table although a different brand and think its spot on, great for cooking on as it's heat resistant and just added a silicone mat to the top to make it non slip and aid cleaning, can't go wrong! 👍
I have been a subscriber for a while now and I like your videos, this table is ideal. Just booked 18 pitches at the Providence Inn at Yeddingham and the landlady remembers you doing the review. looking forward to the next video
Thanks John, appreciate that! Yes, table proved itself straight away and I’m sure it will give good service. You’ll enjoy the Providence Inn, real proper country pub and lovely people…nice that she remembered 👍🏻 ps. I’ve subbed your channel
Looks pretty clever. Gotta love the size. I have an aluminum one like your old one. It’s quite handy but often is left behind due to packing restraints.
Those slatted aluminium tables are very good, had mine for many years and will still have it for years to come 😆 but pack size is everything on my little Honda so every little bit of space saved leaves room for a little luxury or two…the latest of which is the little manual coffee grinder in the video!! I’ll be reviewing that next trip away but without giving the game away to everybody….I really like it 😂
Great idea, I’ll do a video on that next time! However, briefly speaking I have a power bank for USB charging on two ports and my bike has different USB sockets, one of which is live so can charge when parked or run a cable from bike into the tent. Most of the time travelling I just charge the power bank while riding and any cafe or pubs I always charge two or three things 😂 Seems to work well for me 👍🏻
Hi HAPPY NEW YEAR, a bit late. It looks ok but its to heavy and takes space up=i use my top box which has flat top so no extra space or weight. keep safe Micky
Which one holds up better for cutting veggies & meat on? Liking the New Logo. Well at least you didn't need a magnifying glass to read the instructions. Just got a package today & went to read the instructions & almost needed a microscope to read them. Ugghhhh.
Good question…with the old table having given great service I was unsure before actual use of the new one… I’d say it’s very close with the old one slightly better as it’s got a bigger work surface and more solid legs! Having said this the new one is very stable for what looks like flimsy legs (there not actually flimsy) and worked perfectly with some veg cutting and other prep I did on the trip…proof will be if it lasts as long as the older one, which is in its 2nd decade 😆
Just been playing round with logo to see what comments I get and your the first to comment 😆 I’m not good with instructions, as can be seen, although they were mainly badly drawn pictures which weren’t much use 😂
I had the old one for years and was quite attached to it but wanted to cut bulk out of my packing so thus the choice….having used the new one for a while I’m converted and although smaller still find it it very useable, particularly the none slatted top, and it puts up and takes down quicker than old one (once got the hang of it) It’s always a compromise when trying to pack light with less bulk but overall I’m happy
Hola Carlos, on first impression I would recommend the lightweight Naturehike for backpacking or lightweight motorcycle camping but if space is not a problem I would go for the HiGear table as it’s been tried and tested by me for over a decade of use and is very solid 👍🏻
Hi, Roy in Sweden here. Nice videos, got a question. I am looking for a tent where I can sit inside the porch area on a camping chair (Chair One). Is the Opalus high enough, you think? I am a shorter guy, 173 cm.
Hi Roy, thanks for watching…the Opalus is definitely good enough to sit in the porch on camping chair and don’t know If you’ve seen the tent review I think I show me sitting in it 😆 Naturehike Opalus 3 Tunnel Tent - Initial Thoughts After First Use - Part 1 of 2 ruclips.net/video/mKb0APeiZnk/видео.html

@@muratgurner4355 very good once you get the hang of putting it together, very stable and packs light and thin.. bag would have been better dark color though 😂

Your review is timed to perfection, one of these is to be my next purchase, cheers mate, thanks for posting 👍
No problem Steve, glad it was useful 👍🏻
It's easier if you hook the middle part first and then pull the ends into place , just sayin
I’ll try that out, cheers

Good table, really like the pack size and sure it will prove good service over this year, particularly as you say with smaller tent vestibules 👍🏻

Good tip about a silicon mat, I used a tea towel but like the mat idea…cheers 👍🏻
Looks a decent bit of kit. The main bonus of my aluminium panniers is I use them as my table 😎
It is Darren, very light and small pack size, just perfect for the little Honda…..I remember with aluminium panniers doing exactly the same 👍🏻

A very handy useful size.
Be interested to know what different options you use and have for power and charging things such as phones etc.

U prefer ur existing table or this table? I am afraid if this one is very smaller than that..
