Thanks Tyler for your help in swapping out my Z8 controller box. Rev Rides Nathan responded quickly to a minor issue on my Zero8. This is customer service like it should be. Rev Rides gives you quality products at affordable prices AND great customer support! Way to go,Rev!!!
Hi REV Rides team, thank you for the video. Very helpful! As far as I can see, this Apollo scooter is very similar to the Bexly 10. Am I correct? Cheers from Australia 🦘
This is what has made me go for one of these scooters now - easily changable inner tubes, you can do these in the field if you carry spares in a back pack, and a portable usb tyre inflator.
As soon as I saw this video I said fuck xiaomi... If I get a flat on my Zero 9 it's easy as fuck to change LMFAO... Will probably start carrying tools and a spare in a backpack from now on.
Fluid freeride linked your video for the front tire replacement. I am having so much trouble getting the front bolts out, they must be done at the same time otherwise only one bolt comes out How did you manage to do it so easily?/
REV Rides is proud that competitors recognize our expertise. The front axle bolts do need to be loosened at the same time as they are threaded onto the same shaft.
Deflate the tube, then put just a little air in it. Rotate the tire and hit it, rotate and hit it over and over. Add a little more air and repeat. It should self center.
@@RevRides360 thanks for the reply, what do you mean hit it? and is it normal that I got two flats after riding the zero 9 for only 20 miles? I fixed the front tire like in your video, and immediatly got a flat in the rear one.
This was a makeshift stand that was made up of a tripod and a board. The ones we us most in the shop are Big Red stools (www.homedepot.com/p/Big-Red-Creeper-Seat-with-Tool-Tray-TR6300/100594504?source=shoppingads&locale=en-US ) and a scissor lift stand (www.rockymountainatvmc.com/parts/tusk-scissor-lift-stand-p?s=1605044 )
We might offer something like this in the future so check our site. In the meantime, it is a standard heavy duty tripod with a modified top we made in house.
Hello, the ratchet must match the socket size that you are using. In the video we use 1/2" drive ratchet and socket. I would recommend 3/8" drive ratchet and socket for most jobs. Please note that this is the drive (square) size, and not the socket (hex) size.
Hey Anthony, the schrader valve removal tool can be found in most department stores. They are typically only a few dollars. This tool is optional, as you can use any pointed object to release the air from the tube by depressing the valve. We used a steel punch to align the inner spacer, but you could substitute a similar sized screwdriver for the task. Punches are available at most hardware/department stores.

I just hit 370 miles since April on zero 10 and had to repair 2 intermediate fixes “these videos helped a lot” I appreciate it good old fashioned customer service come to think about it that was the main reason I went with rev rides over fluid.. $1800 decision. @@RevRides360 Thank you for replying! I'm more of a visual person, that I find it easy following your very helpful "how to" videos. In which case, I'll wait for your video on how to replace the solid tires of the Zero 8x 😊 Thank you again!
We don't recommend any foam, but we do recommend slime. It's not an end all solutions, but it does help. Cons, can potentially clog the schrader valve. Pros, it does help with the minor punctures.
Hi, I have a new zero 8 pro! can I change a rear solid tires with air tires??? I have to disassembly motor? o can I cut a solid tires whit saw?? thanks!
Is there an option to purchase the same size and shape/width solid rear tire as the front tire? Because with the front and rear tires having different width and size, it's impossible to have precise steering. This is very noticeable going downhill and on narrow, twisty bike lanes.
Hi so I had issues with my zero 10 front mudguard rubbing on tire so I removed the wheel and aligned it after loosening the mud guard.. But now I have another issue.. When I tighten the nut on the other side it doesn't move as freely anymore, there's friction and I've noticed that my top speed from 34mph is reduced to 26 top speed on gear 3.. Theres a problem..Would you advise me to what it may be??
After changing my flat tire successfully, and I spin the tire the way u did towards the end of the video. My tire doesnt rotate smoothly as yours. Did i do something wrong or thats normal? There was also a sqeaky sound on the front wheel when I rode it (like the sound wherein u need to put a wd40 on)
@@ivanrivera2694 Oh okay I got a Zero 10 So I figured out what was the issue and its the brake pads, so I loosen the brakes on the front and it spins freely... My issue is I need to tighten the brakes back up at some point so I may align the disk with a alignment tool and make sure its not scraping
Hi. How substantial is the difference in power and smoothness between the 9 and 10? ... Also, please publish dimension differences between the different models on your page. Thanks!
The Zero 10 is significantly more powerful than the Zero 9. Both have smooth throttles and customizable performance such as acceleration and top speed.
Changing the tire on the rear is a bit different since the wheel does not split into two pieces so easily. We will do our own video soon but Falcon PEV has one. ruclips.net/video/fJmar0XjKfY/видео.html
It is a very similar process, in fact. While the hub motor does not split, the outer ring does split. Only the six outer screws need to be removed and the tire comes off with zero effort. Make sure your tire is deflated which it most likely will be at this point. I spent a week trying to get the rear tire off, bought special tire levers. Nothing was working. I was thinking about posting a video, but this is so easy. The most time consuming part is detaching cables and removing the wheel, as shown in the falcon pev videos.
Anyone find a quality carry handle for the zero 9? I've come across a couple online but have no idea if they are any good. The also ship from overseas which makes me service since they aren't cheap.
Thank you for your question. The first thing to check is the brake cable. Make sure you adjust if this is too loose. If you are having the same issue after, please send us a short video to service@revrides.com for assistance.
There are a lot of knocks off of the ZERO 8. Some knock offs are pretty identical, but beware of who you buy from. Be sure to get a reputable company behind your scooter.
