This is just a great guide! Now I will be much more confident to disassemble my wheel for the first time to replace the tire and tube. Thank you 🙏 Это просто великолепный гайд! Теперь я буду гораздо уверенней впервые разбирать свое колесо для замены шины и камеры. Благодарю 🙏
Glad you touched on the even tire bead line. So many riders don't understand this and that is why their wheel feels weird. Good video, Super informative and not over explained
Fantastic job Douglas! Very informative with tight editing. You guys are really on to something here. Hopefully you end up doing videos like this of all the modern wheels. 🤩
When i was sliding the the wires back through the hole it was a bit difficult..i scraped the wires a little bit should i be concerned about that? You made it look easy 😂
I'd love to know where to find what you called a tap tool at 0:56. I think a tap tool is for threading usually. I'm ordering a 5mm metal rod as a stand in, but your tool looked nice.
Great tutorial! Removing the pedals is actually unnecessary -- all the other steps can be done with pedals still attached. Did you reseal the Hall sensor connection with silicone or any other compound/method? In the video you just plugged it back in.
The factory decided that a zip tie was a necessary safety measure on the power wire but you decided against it? Hmmmm I'd hate to be entrusting someone to do a tire replacement and then crash 'cause the power wire vibrated loose. You like to use loctite everywhere but not silicone where it was used before you took it apart...
Its pretty much dismantling the entire unit just to to replace the tire. Its not something that you can do on side road when you had a puncture while on commute 😩
I know shops can replace but its a different story if you stuck mid commute or ride. I will hold off getting one until new model with more user friendly. Hopefully very soon because i think these units are a blast to ride around 😀

Thank you! We appreciate the feedback!
Great video. It's one thing to take the wheel apart, but you run through the process of putting it back together. Thanks

We can not wait to cover all of the wheels old and new!

Very great video. Got to change mine pretty soon. You made it look easy. Hope I can match it. Thanks for the vid

Love it, looking to change my 18XL tyre soon & now I know

Great tutorial. Roughly how many miles is the stock tire good for? I've got over 1000 miles on mine and wondering if I should be changing it soon.
I have seen the tire get from 1500-3000 miles. Be sure to check that you have tread before you ride!
I want a new tire but cannot find one to fit 18xl,want something different from stock...
18х3.0
I can't find any 18-in road tires anywhere
Check Revrides.com
@@RevRides360 thanks
@@RevRides360 just checked, they have none LOL
18 inches is the outer diameter. The rim diameter is 14 inches. Apparently a 14x2.5 minicross tire fits pretty well.
Wow 18XL has motor connectors? Why new wheels do not have it? :D All KS wheels have motor connectors?
Why do euc's need innertubes? One big point of cast wheels is no need for tubes.
Some have switched to tubeless!
Need to find bent valve stem...got one?!?

Looks like loctite was applied to only one side for some reason.
what type loctite do you use 242 or 243?
Thanks for reaching out! For further assistance, please follow up with us at Service@REVRides.com!
Lot of work to get at the tire, it seems like while you are there a motor & bearing inspection should be done, no?
That is a great idea if you suspect there is rust or other issues.
Покрути колесо и просто послушай шум подшипника.
Hey rev rides! I was wondering, if I bought the vsett display from your website, would it work with a zero 9? if so would the nfc card thing also work
We have not tested that you are welcome to if you would like!
You do not have to remove pedals to change the tire.
luckily i have two one is still fine !! the other has a flatty ,,,

For punctures we recommend carrying fix a flat with you! Also the newer models are getting easier and easier!
