Great video! I need to replace the steel dowel/pin that you remove from the steering column. What are the dimensions of the pin? Many thanks @FalconpevSg
I was told that at 200lbs, I would bottom out the stock suspension and it wouldn't offer much support. Is it possible to change the suspension for something that suits my weight? What would that be? Just a longer/stronger spring?
Believe it or not this is one of the better suspensions for scooters. The price you pay is mainly for the battery and motor which makes up most of the cost.
So the suspension system of 8,9 and 10 are just like toys. C'mon guys with the high price of your electric scooters, you should have used a more rigid and quality suspension both in the front and back. I own a zero 8 and the suspension both in the front and rear sucks big time!

How old is that Scooter? How long before the spring wore out?

Does anyone know where to buy a 135mm shock? Falcon is sold out and I can't see any others online anywhere...
Let’s say using the scooter daily, how long would it take for the spring to last before needing replacement?
Good day. Please tell me the characteristics of the new spring.
Wire diameter, outer diameter, lenght.
LOVE YOU,let me know if you find
Is there an alternative spring that are much stronger and thicker that can fit the same as the stock spring?
whats the size of the socket wrench that fits the bolt to unlock the fork
what is the diameter of the long bolt?
Do you have to disconnect the battery ? If yes how please. I have to change my zero 9 fork,
Finally I done it without waiting for your help...
Do you have to disconnect it?
Is it advisable to replace the spring with heavier dampening so it doesn't bottom out?
yes if u can find one.
@@FalconpevSg any chance you know where to look??
It is the same for the zero 8?

Whats the diameter of the Nut with M12 head?

Did you find those dimensions? I'm looking into upgrading mine
Excellent thanks
Rick Deckard ur welcome:)
You say "fork" quite often. I am highly entertained by this.
orange42 I should have balanced it out with a spoon
and the new spring is the same low quality :(
Where are from?
Jalaluden Rakim Singapore
Now, zero 9 weight limit is 220 lbs. I need prefer softer spring rate.
All that for a spring, nah.
This is return to factory stuff. People should not risk destroying their expensive scooter with this risky DIY.
a professional scooter or bike shop should be able to do that properly for you.
@@FalconpevSg They would have to! I feint when I see a screwdriver.
Lol
That suspension is a terrible idea and for the price you pay for that scooter you should be getting better.

Yeah, no. I'll go get a scooter with a beefier suspension...
What's a scooter that weighs 18kg and has better suspension than the Zero 9
