Both of my boys are on a free food dry diet. One of my kitties is occasionally leaving what looks like undigested food in various places. It is very rare. I used to think vomiting was normal, and I think lots of vets think the same. That is 100+ year old thinking! Thanks for the video!
I feed my female cat Whiskas. It's a wet food and she eats it quickly. I do keep the rest of the package in the refrigerator. She has vomited dry food in the past but is not doing that so much any more. I just give her a small amount of dry food but I am I going to stop giving her dry food soon. She is very vocal when it's time to eat and will overeat if I let her, so I am giving her smaller portions. I love my cat so much. She gives me a great amount of joy!
I have a few cats, and the two that seem likely to vomit from time to time are the ones who feel that chewing their food is a waste of time. Go figure.
My cat ate her wet food so quick that she barfed it right up. I went back to dry food she could eat slowly throughout the day. I also elevate her food and water bowl about three inches.
A couple of years ago, my long haired tabby was not feeling well and I thought she was going to die. I called the vet for an appointment and had it for next day. Then she vomited a huge ball of fur and she seemed to go a little better. She resumed eating and vomited another ball bigger than the former. I went to the vet anyway just in case but likely her small stomach was clogged and she got rid of the bezoards. I bought a product supposed to reduce the risk of this situation occuring again but she never wanted to swallow the medication.
My cat occasionally throws up undigested food due to eating too fast. She absolutely loves her kibble. I have cut back on the kibble dramatically and so she really craves it.
If the cat when out door and ate grass and they up that good, cat do to get out their hair ball. Look at what they threw up. The hair ball would be round and long and hard. They lick their hair so you need to brush everday but still they will get hair ball and need grass to throw up before the hair ball get to large.
My kitten is probably also too active after eating. My other cat (about 3) rarely has a problem, but the one time he did throw up recently was when the kitten was chasing him.
My cat is 2. She did have a hair ball and threw it up. That’s how I knew she had one. She does eat wet food in the morning and doesn’t throw it up. She does have a sensitive stomach. She doesn’t throw up every day or multiple times a day. How do I get her off dry food? Thank you for your awesome advice.
I just got my cat recently from the shelter, regurgitates all the time, just a moist cylinder of food, doesn't matter wet or dry food. I guess a trip to the Vet. is inevitable.
My cat will throw up his food and water a couple minutes after eating and drinking. This has been going on for a few days and he's only about 3-4 years old
I’m scared to watch this because I’ve been going through this with my mother cat. My gray Hoosier. One every four days. It’s hard food because I thought that is what the professionals were claiming to be the most beneficial. They change it up every couple years.
@@Castielxangel I guess, she still yaks almost daily. I think its stress. She got herself impregnated a couple years back so one furball has turned into 9. So I think sometimes her children stress her out.
my cat the last 3 days has been vomiting up whatever she eats taking her to the vet 2morro after watching this video has scared me she is only 7 months old :(
I recommend using a quality comb. Even a flea comb can do the trick. Brush your cat a few times a week. That's an easy way to clean up all of the dead fur and keep your cat free of furballs.
I have a couple of cats that have been vometing up their food and one of them has done this kind of thing with food constantly it is very worrying. She hasn't been to the vet in a long time. I think I better bring my cat in for the vet to check for any stomach digestion issues because both cats have been doing this on so many occasions. Both my cats have had so many different types of cat food in their lives. I think their digestion systems are messed up really badly.

Narration pace (herky-jerky) and tone is off-putting. Information is poorly organized and included not much more than basic/"Obvious" facts. Have found many, far-better discussions and presentations out there. my cat after 10 years of eating dry poisonous food from the industry (hill's) i switched her 3 years a go to real food: its meat, or chicken its from a local company that takes the meat, they boil it a litter just to kill microbes, and they add to the mixture some vegetables and fruits to make it overall with all the nutrients that cats need. they work with a veterinarian to know how much and from what foods to calculate the quantities of everything. BUT!!! the meat is not organic grass fed grass finished meat or chickens so they do contain all the steroids and hormones and the antibiotics and all the poisons garbage that industry meat has, plus the vegetables and fruits are not organic. just from that alone the cat can be ill. what can she eat in this world that won't kill her ? this food is the worse in its minimum because the industry dry food is not even food its pure chemicals disaster.

Hey Steve I know what u mean but they don't mean to I don't think😁
Steve, it sounds like you have a normal cat! 🐈😺😽 (all the cats I've had over the last 30 years prefer throwing up on the carpet or rugs, go figure 😖)
If you try to put paper towel down in front of them, they will always move away and barf beside it.
Steve sorry not sorry 🤣🤣🤣😂
Yep. Ours do the same.

My cat will not eat wet food...is this normal? Very curious
My cat started vomitting after Forza Vitamins was introduced to it. Does vitamin intake also induces it to vomit?
I think this happens to my kitten (10 months) when he eats too fast. Wet food makes it worse.
