Especially if there is a student or staff member in a wheelchair at that school; they could have become trapped and unable to get out in case of a fire or other emergency. I'm in a wheelchair myself and I don't think that this should be taken lightly at all.

For years at my old school they had prank day and crowned prank king. For 3 years I was prank king. Then they scrubbed it.
Our Senior Class did this in our school and the principle and supervisors put it on Instagram proud of their students and said “we’ll get you back” eventually they did a day where not a single teacher was in the school and made students feel weird.
