As standard it does around 100mph, with a TD5 if you replace the its "brain" with an uprated one it can do 120ishmph, however i would not recommend that, the Gear box isnt designed to do that, but on average people have been getting 204bhp from them up from around 140bhp, dont expect it to last as long though, stuff will break
We don´t only replace "the brain" me modified the complete 15P-engine and the R380 gearbox. We also modified the transfer box with active cooling! The transfer box is the primer problem in high speed. We get maximum power of 254PS and 504Nm torque in a Td5 rallye car. This Defender runs over 55.000km in the last 4 years without drivetrain-problems!
