In the time of winter a man is sluggish, when spring is in his heart he is wanton. Oh, oh, I am all aflower, now with my first love I am all afire, a new love it is of which I am dying. My innocence plays with me, my shyness pushes me back. Oh, oh, I am all aflower, now with my first love I am all afire, a new love it is of which I am dying.
I remember when this song was first played. It was mere days after King Harold's forces had secured decisive victory at the fields of Camden. It was at the castle of Dalton were we celebrated. The king and his thanes partied much that night. However, there was a great air of sadness, for many chairs were empty. We had all lost someone--a brother, a son, a friend, a cousin. The drink was just as much to sooth our sorrow and dull their pain of our wounds as for celebration.
Awesome song. I love it so, that one day I played in in a pub full of people. They were wondering, but they started to hold their pints as wooden medieval pots. That was great time for me. :D

Well i do appreciate such kind of music. Medieval stuff is certainly wonderful, so thanks for the song, and, of course great illuminations. I like the way they depicted unicorn ;)
Well for the most part it seems weird to us cos we are not part of the same culture and time period for which this art was made. The reason behind why some people might prefer mediaeval art is probably that it mostly wasn't produced for commercial purposes, or at least not in the way most art is now, so I suppose that's why it could be maybe considered a purer kind of artistic expression.
Its not comparable. Modern art has too much styles. Some great some awful. Medieval arts was censored who rewritten that songs, novels, philosophical books.
