he didnt do it on the 1982 concert either !! i wonder if actually ever learned it again after the studio session ? maybe he hated what he recorded ? who knows - but its consistent omission for the past 3 decades
This was Blackmore truly at his peak here in this incarnation of Rainbow sadly in 97 he turned his back on hard rock and has never been the same since 😔
@steve89z No it's his hair, he paid for it. Who really cares. He bangs Candice Night and is the greatest guitarist ever. Nothing else matters, now go away !!
Loved this song when it came out. Prety good job by Doogie. Too much high end in snare. Needs more bottom like on studio version. Bobby Rondinelli a great drummer.
@KingOfDawn96 Dio was gone before the 80's rolled in. He was replaced by Graham Bonnet then JLT came. This guy came in during the 90's on the album Straner In Us All.
No guitar solo? That's some blackmore's greatest solo's!
Doogie White singls like a fusion of Ronnie James Dio and Joe Lynn Turner. He[s perfect for singing the whole Rainbow material...
Superb ! My favorite Rainbow song!
doggie white is a very underated singer that deserves alot more credit caust this guy can sing
Why Ritchie never played that superb solo alive?

come on, its a nice version.
I like Joe Lynn Turner better than Doogie White, but White's voice just fit so perfect in this song.
Love this song

He does not seem to do the guitar solo live. Joe Lynn Turner is better.
Ritchie can't duplicate the solo live wtf?
Gran interpretación..
JLT does it best.

So glad I found this video by accident. I saw Doogie White perform with Yngwie and he ruined the whole set. He is a beautiful singer.
Nothing to do with JLT version on the record, this one is not even close to it. I like the original members way Better..!!
Singer is of course Doogie White. Song is Stone Cold from the 1982 album Stright Through The Eyes.

Where is Joe Lynn Turner...?
Ritcie Blackmore rocked this song like no other has !!!!!@
My favorite non Dio Rainbow song. Ronnie did ALOT of great songs with Ritchie!
one of my favorite solos of all times is missing. what?
this singer sucks...Joe sings this MUCH better..but Ritchie is here to fix the situation.... what happened to Dio??
🌈
Did I miss the guitar solo?!?
@steve89z

at least he look exactly the same since about 1982, but who cares^^

Doogie White's voice is pretty good, but Dio and Turner are also my favorite
