Burn and Machine Head are two of the greatest rock/metal albums EVER! Ritchie really could "burn" on that strat.

its a sad damn thing that blackmore is never mentioned alongside guys like clapton hendrix and page. What the hell is wrong with people.

I always had the feeling that Ritchie's boredom threshold was both his blessing and his curse, he could see the obvious boring thing to play and would deliberately go a different way, like he could never keep doing the same thing for too long and the same applied to people.

You can disuss guitarplayers from many different aspects. In the end it goes very much about the personal taste and Ritche touches mine. He has so many "faces". When he´s not destroying guitars he is actually playing a lot of interesting music. No matter the surrounding. (Not meant to discriminate any "surrounding" but Ritchie is the topic here.)
I don´t see the use of discussing who´s the best. In the end it goes about music and what you like.

    Great singer
Blackes57 is right. Ritchie used to have the blues but he has played to much "Green Sleeves" in the past

Me perdoe mas , Burn sem o o verdadeiro solo de guitarra nao tem a minima graça , a estoria ficou registrada no disco somente .
