MJ Cole is responsible for the music I listen to and create. My first ever piece of music I owned was the cassette tape of Sincere/Crazy Love with Elizabeth Troy. He is one of the very few artists who writes music with the intention of it NOT being Electronic sounding. He also adds pure soul to all of his music and I love how he has stayed true to how unorthodox his sound is. A true living legend. Big up MJ Cole everytime
I agree he classically trained i believe which is a string to his bow lol you allways get the extra dose of goodness behide the music if people have got the music theory under their belt
Yeah what a banger, Sincere blew up in the UK club scene when it came out, I think I had it on Vinyl at some point before my old collection got robbed. ;(
Been playing piano for years and the effectiveness of coming up with something by just playing 10th chord progressions never occured to me - great tip, thanks for that !
Something fresh for all who are tired listening to 4/4. Besides it reminds me of Alche Beat's track Free Europe ruclips.net/video/1iinAeMGqIU/видео.html

I always thought real uk garage was beats and mc grindah????
Chords a bit reminiscent of Kate Bush' "waking the witch"
did he go cross eyed working at the computer or was he like that before?
Lesson 1: if you just want to play, get a real piano.
Damn that ugly desktop background.
I always thought mj cole was black. 🤷♂️😅
Those drums are not. good.
Wicked!
