Thanks for this PB. This is amazing! MJ is amazing artist. Yet goes to show doesn't need to be too complicated. It's all about being an artist and using ur talents. Keep these videos coming.
Thank you MJ Cole and Point Blank! In the last few weeks I've been scouring the internet for videos or interviews with MJ Cole in the studio and found fuck all. Then this video pops in my youtube feed and it's awesome! thanks again
Thanks Point Blank! 👍 Big up to Matt for showing his process. Two questions: 1) Is Matt side-chaining everything to the kick? 2) What's the mastering company he uses?
There are other vids of his where he shows you that he does sidechain a lot of stuff to the kick - not everything though usually on the other vid its just an 808 which he uses as the sub bass
Point Blank Music School cool! Because im starting to get into stem mixing as a DJ with traktor and I think its neat to explore stem mixing in a live setting. Have you tried Stem mixing before?
his track Sincere is an all time classic for me...legend

Does that tune which is starting at 4.20 has name? Sounds dope! :)
Why do people put a thumbs down on videos like this
just wondering if all the esx24 instruments were in multi output, i realise i am late sorry
Was that his final project? There was no use of panning, which if it was the final project, is quite interesting.
Where are you getting the stems?
The stems would have been provided by the label who commissioned the remix.
Point Blank Music School cool! Because im starting to get into stem mixing as a DJ with traktor and I think its neat to explore stem mixing in a live setting. Have you tried Stem mixing before?
Kool
Im so surprised by this simple mix.
8:57 dunno why that made me laugh so much
is that a volcano next to the piano...
Where'd you get the stems?
Hi Micah, the stems were provided by Rag'n'Bone Man's label.
Awesome! Thanks for the reply. What's the best way to go about obtaining stems from labels?
They would need to be commissioning you specifically for a remix.
