Captain best jams come from either an ESP guitar or the Roland Blues Cube amp-just an observation.
I have their tremolo pedal The Big Chill, and it's my favorite tremolo right now! Sounds amazing, and is extremely versatile without being overly complex to use. For me, having too many options or functions turns out to be a distraction from making music. The Big Chill has the perfect balance between versatility and simplicity.

I don’t know if it’s just the set up today, but these pedals sound very dynamic. The chorus and delay are magic and even the dirt ones sound very reactive to how Pete plays. Impressive stuff
Yep, DYNAMIC is the feature for me in pedals, got the Tubedreamer thou I generally avoid tubescreamers for their overly midhump...

The Retrovibe is the best Jam pedal in the range imo, fantastic sounding vibe. Certainly recommended.
For everyone here in the comments... I'm from Greece and I want you guys to know, that(expect jam pedals, that are the most known out there, and sound kickass) we have some fantastic pedal companies , such as vs audio, crazy tube circuits and tsakalis... You should check them out!!!!
So i have proca rat 2 and rattler. Rattler is way more quieter and lot better low gain performance. Unfortunatly they didnt play low gain settings on the white rattler. I did the comparison video if you wanna check it out
I bought the Rattler to replace my Rat. I just ended up with both on my board

I visited Andertons the day they filmed this and had a great chinwag with the Cap. They showed me that Limited Pedal from the box of pedals and I just knew there was going to be some Bondage joke in this video 😂 Legends!

The Tubedreamer differs from the 808 by having asymetrical clipping. So more like the Boss OD1.

The white rattler does a thing I do not like. I can't quite figure out what it is, but the there is a texture to the gain that is just unpleasant to me. I figured the limited edition would be even more of the same, but then I was surprised that to my ears it sounds quite a bit more palatable.
ER Webster I think it’s that they made it only asymmetrical. Symmetrical clipping is more pleasing to the ear. They have another version where there’s a toggle to switch that setting but this is the new version and you don’t have a choice. JHS has a now not made but can be found used the All American that sounds great. Not sure why they stopped making it.
Splendid Erication from the Capt at the start. Was rather taken by the wah 'though that may be down to the bloke playing it. Either way these are great pedals made by really cool people.

Odd - the user manual for the Rattler shows the Level and Tone controls transposed. So is the silk screen or the manual wrong?

The Captain always twiddles the knobs too fast! As with many things in life, a slower and more deliberate twiddling is so much more effective... Fun video, though. :)

I understand the work behind, the research, the fact its not a mass production but 200+ for a drive pedal is crazy, there is 20£ of raw material at best and you don't need that much time to assemble it and test it, so are we paying extra 200 for what? the name? the fact its "boutique"? the research behind for the sound? for me its crazy, specially in almost 2020, my personal opinion of course.
Nothing is too much expensive when you give decent wages for the People Who are working for you. YOU need to get more paid for your work and not ask to pay less other People.( If everything is cheap you dont need to get more money will say your boss)

The RAT op-amp fallacy needs to stop at some point. The OP07 is a perfect replacement of the LM308. Forum zombies will spew random crap about slew rate and shit, yet they both have a slew-rate of 0.3V/µs. Every key spec they are equal on.
And by the way, if it has an LM308, it is NOS since it isn't made anymore, there's nothing special about it.

I come for Danish Pete. He is so good. Rebea is also very informative. I'd Never Watch with ( that other crazy guy - The Chapper ). This channel has Improved Dramatically since He is no longer here. Jam Pedals: Wah, Vibe & Chorus are on par with The Best Pedals ever made.
