It packs the following functions / features:
Dry / Wet Mix control
High-gain-stage footswitch which doesn’t affect the dry signal’s level
Internal trimmer to set the high-gain stage’s output level
Its overdrive circuit can track every little nuance of your playing with a wide gain-stage spectrum, ranging from highly dynamic tube-amp- like break-up, all the way to full- bodied high-gain saturation, while effortlessly maintaining chord- voicing clarity!
It is voiced to allow more low-end to come through while introducing a slight and carefully calibrated mid hump tube amps love so much.
Owing its clipping merits to our “secret” chip, the Lucydreamer fluently tackles all the traditional tasks of an overdrive pedal and at the same time invites you to discover new ways of expression through its clean signal blending which will also work wonders when paired with an already overdriven valve amp! Set the mix knob just right to introduce the desired amount of overdrive into your clean signal.

From my experiences of 808 obsession it's impossible to stop until you don't have original vintage 808. Now i have one and have been calm for 5 years or so .. but i should say this pedal is probably the best modern 808 variation i've seen

JAM produce some awesome pedals... I love their dirt pedals.
I have the Lucydreamer (and the tubedreamer & rattler) - it's a tasty drive flavour that breathes mellow overdrive. The blend knob is my favourite feature, with the footswitch for the high gain stage a close second. No more flicking a switch, just stomp and go!

So if the internal trim sets the output level of the added gain stage, how do you set the amount of gain? in other words: is the added stage (trim) pre or post gain? no review of this pedal shed any light on this. or even asked the question.
As far as I know, the amount of gain is set, so you can only tweak the volume of the gainstage with the internal trimpot.
Mike, from all your guitars, you seem (even more) fluent and comfortable with the SG (at lest sitting down) or I am wrong? :)
I have got two questions for anyone that has played it.
1) Does it have a Tubescreamer character?
2) Can it do higher gain (let’s say mild distortion) in the second gain stage?
1) no 2) yes
