Nice work, a good tip is cutting the slats a bit long and using a flush trim router bit to make it perfect all the way around. Keep up the great work and let’s continue to inspire others. 👍🏼

I am about to make this. Unfortunately I do not own a saw. But a young man at Home Depot helped me cut all the wood. He gave me a great suggestion that costs about the same as the 3 1x6 x 8. Was to get two 1x6x 12. . They were in better condition than the 1x6x8.. so I guess I'll show it when I'm done. Btw it cost me a little over $ 66.00 here in CA.
Love the book you guys have. How about making an 8 foot patio table and matching bench. I have know idea how to even start something like that. Hope you have another book in the works.👍
Keep in mind that his dimensions are based on nominal lumber. I found some cedar fence pickets and they are a full 6", not 5.5". So I will slightly modify my 2x4 cuts to account for this. I love this design, so simple. At my home store, the 3/4x6x6 cedar fence pickets were less than $3 each!
