Thumbs up for Velocicoaster! There are cards that earn on entertainment, but this lets you redeem points for park tickets? Now I can book my entire trip on points! Thanks!
Now that Alaska Airlines is a BILT partner, the card is an even a better product, especially if you’re passively accumulating points via a mortgage (or rent). Yes, depending on your mortgage lender, you can pay through BILT.
@@ladybull2869 They say ~650-680 is needed. As for credit lines, I'm unable to answer that as that information on how they determine it is not shared publicly
I love the Bilt card since they allow Wells Fargo mortgage holders to pay through Bilt ACH which gets 1X points. That justified the card for me by itself since they dont allow it with any other mortgage holders (for now). Great video Lani as always sir. Love your stuff man.
Congratulations on your card..... Let me ask you when you apply for the card did they ask for your full social security number and if they didn't was it a soft pull or a hard pull?
I've seen many of these videos about BILT, but none absolutely none of them mention credit limits. Credit limit is the only thing that I care about. MY Fico score is 748 and I have excellent paying history. What will be my credit limit estimate? Nobody will answer this question for some reason.
There is no set answer to that question. Your credit score is not the only factor when it comes to what the credit limit will be. The bank won't even tell you until after you apply, have your credit pulled, and are approved. Any debts (home/car), your income, other available credit all come I to play. Out of all the cards I have I still will get a different credit limit per card. Sometimes high, other times low.
@@CallMeLani Thanks for the review. I'll wait to apply because, I've read some comments where the person was given only $1000 credit limit. That is too low. I'll apply once I build my credit up to 800.
I don't rent, but that Hyatt transfer makes card well worth it. Also, it's crazy the Amex gold card as a travel card has not a single benefit for $250/ yr
great vid, question, are there steps to take first to ensure this will translate to my mortgage ability? seen an earlier comment but I unfortunately don’t have Wells Fargo.. thanks in advance
Thanks for watching! BILT does not support mortgages just yet. But they have told me directly that it IS on the way. Subscribe and stay in touch. As I hear more regarding their mortgages and timeline, I'll be sure to provide an update
Even though I dont rent, I thought that I could make the Bilt card work. I forget about the 5 transactions and ended up with 0 points have forgotten about the rent day trivia a few times And if im not doing any organic spending on the 1st, i miss out on that tooo But every card isnt for everyone Good video Lani
I am currently gardening now but once I am done I am thinking about getting this card. I am also hoping they will have added mortgage payments by then. If not and I get this card, couldn't I still use it to pay my mortgage with a 3rd party like Plastiq?
It did take a bit to sort out with my apt community but just be AWARE if you are over charged for rent built will not accept a CREDIT ACH to your BILT account. I am sure somewhere in the account holder disclosure that it states that but who reads that crap?
Hello good video! I have two questions: if i pay my rent via zelle/venmo/ cashapp can i make that count? Question 2: if im paying for an apartment outside the country through international wire transfers (wells fargo) can i make that count? I guess my question is how they know what is rent ?
Thanks for stopping by! For your 1st question, I know they allow you to pay rent via Venmo and PayPal. Basically any app which you can use your BILT card. That may eliminate Zelle and CashApp. So just double-check first. For the 2nd question, I'm not sure if they support rent outside of the US, but their terms do state that you can only pay rent with 1 address in a 30 day period. So that would eliminate 2 rent payment addresses anyway. I have some more regarding BILT coming up very soon. Make sure to Subscribe so you don't miss it! talk soon!
I do not have the Cap1 card so I'm not able to answer that officially. With the travel portals I am familiar with, usually smaller or low cost carriers are not available in them. It fully depends on the portal and the airline tho
thanks for the info! on my bilt app it says i can use another credit card other than the bilt card to pay my rent and i was able to add my Amex gold to it. so if i use that as the card to be charged it would essentially work the same as plastiq? (my rental property doesn’t accept amex and i am working on a retention offer so i’m ok with the 3% transaction fee)
You're very welcome. Thanks for stopping by. Yes you can do that, but you'll only get 250 BILT points + the 3% fee, but it is possible. Subscribe and stay in touch!
Depends on your credit history, but 670+ is what they say is recommended. If interested I have my referral link in the description of my video. Apprecite it if you use it. Thanks for watching and commenting. Subscribe and stay in touch! I have more BILT info on the way
