During the pruning process it's important to focus on not getting any bodily fluids on the money tree. Especially blood. You cannot bleed on the money tree during this or any other step of pruning. *Do not bleed on the money tree.*
Bleeding on the money tree can earn you 20k a month by being your own boss
step 1e. fear the money tree
What about feeding it blood? Or urine, I guess. Is that ok because it has nothing to do with pruning?

Like for real I can't stop coming back to it
is gotta lotta HARMONIES and is gotta lotta RHYMES
Brian admitted on Patreon that he was trying to create a Shepard Tone with vocals, so that might contribute!
The song is harmonized mostly in fifths and octaves, which is really common for the style (I don't remember the name, but it's similar to Baba Yetu from Civ 4). In the ninth bar ("dies right before my eyes"), though, there's a crunchy harmony with a tritone stacked on top of a major sixth, which then resolves into a fourth on top of a sixth. Then it resolves into a full chord. Then, right at the end, the lowest voice jumps back down to being in octaves. Also, all the singing is offbeat. It's bouncy that way (and again, common for that style).
That's all I have. Here's a google drive folder with a transcription of the vocals: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-J4DvTY-4a_iEwCISkmGZTXrrQquYDqG?usp=sharing

While pruning you generally want to avoid cutting the thickest stems, and focus on the thinner ones. A plant can always grow new offshoots from its main body, but its harder to re-grow an old limb. tl:dr Cut off the fingers but spare the arms.

The pitch and energy of this song heightens directly in the way anxiety works.
But the song feels so, so, so, so, so, SO much better.
Like if heard this sound in my ears while spiraling I'd start to mentally associate the spiraling with both tension (I already do) and joy (I currently do not).
I feel that would really mess with my brain.
ayy that's what a manic episode feels like
Art has always been about finding beauty (and in turn pleasure) in negative things. Don't be scared of finding some sort of satisfaction or pleasure from things that aren't necessarily joyful in reality.
@@heartwarden I have no qualms about enjoying art. My understanding is that artistic expression of a negative experience is more about relief from a past experience rather than seeking to prolong a currently occurring one. In other words, the act of doing it reduces the negative experience instead of heightening it so would in fact be the opposite of what I was talking about.
It's the thought of tricking my brain into enjoying an intensely negative experience that would throw me, particularly one that doesn't actually have any benefit towards experiencing.
I'd prefer to let a negative experience be negative to discourage me from seeking it in the future.
In other words, I don't want to turn anxiety into a drug.
I'm not stating that this video makes me worried about that ever happening because I don't tend to hear beautiful music that directly scales with the intensity of my own stress.
It's more of just a theoretical "what if" scenario, and in my supposition it sounds like a bad idea.
(I feel like I used far too many words to describe what I'm talking about but I'm also not super clear on how to pare it down)
@@Unclevertitle I think you're severely overthinking it and I assure you there's no risk of turning your anxiety into a drug through the enjoyment of a piece of art. That's just not how mental illness OR art work.
If anything it is the art that has an effect on us, and I suppose you'd be the only one who can tell what that effect is. But from what I'm reading my guess is you have it backwards and are associating a good thing with a bad thing, not the other way around. But hey, it's your brain.
@@heartwarden Like I said. Enjoying art is the opposite of what I was talking about. I'm not focusing on art. I'm not in the slightest afraid of art. Art was tangential to my point at best.
I was talking about enjoying the experience of anxiety somehow. And if that's impossible, great. Everything I was talking about was hypothetical musings anyway. Not an actual fear I'm having. Have a good day.

Feel when playing it at normal speed: Brian wants to show how crazy his thoughts are
Feel when playing it at 0.75 speed (which I believe it was recorded at): Brian is confidently comfortable with his own trains of thoughts
having watched it at various speeds, the 0.75 does feel like the most natural rate. If you start at the slowest speed, by the time you get to 0.75 it feels pretty normal and normal speed feels rushed. In any case this is not really the kind of music you can make in one take. there are tons of overdubs happening

Brian David Gilbert is an eldritch horror. In this comment, I will be going over the multiple powers he has displayed over his videos.

Potential ability to talk to plants (Sibling dance)
Ability to predict the future (My Autobiography, it's time to get good at darts)
Materializing matter (It's November 8th)
Destroying matter (Covered up as editing in 'this video got me a job')
Duplication (i'm not superstitious but i am afraid to prune my money tree)
But this is only the tip of the iceberg. In 'alone in my apartment, Brian states that while alone in his apartment he 'can do anything'. If this is true, then there's truly no end to the absolutely horrifying acts that Brian could do. Truly, we are at the whim of Brian once he is alone in his apartment. If there was anything that you think I missed then please let me know, and Brian, I want an explanation on how you got these powers and why you are using them in this way.
