11:30 IT'S THE DARTBOARD. Brian releasing the masterpiece that is "It's Time to Get Good at Darts" during quarantine was no coincidence. He already knew of the dartboard's ability to bring joy to a socially deprived person confined to a depressing living space. Truly, his research will bless generations.
I came here to see a man adjusting himself with his sim and got a 16 minute long commentary on depression and happiness being found in people around you. _I'm not complaining._
Don't worry. It's logistically impossible to maintain more than about three friendships. Everyone who claims to have more best friends than that is either a liar or seriously overstating his own popularity.
Willow Barrelmaker when you trynna get your hypothesis to be correct so your survey is like “Is blue your favorite color, or do you think puppies deserve to die”
i started crying watching this video when Brian said his friends helped him paint because they genuinely wanted to. made me think of my boyfriend's struggle in realising that people would want to help him because they truly care about him and not for ulterior motives.
W.H. Auden once wrote, "We must love one another or die." He definitely wasn't expecting that poem to reflect the themes of a RUclips video about churning out sad clown paintings in a tiny NYC apartment for an experiment based on the Sims when he put pen to paper in 1939, but here we are.
It's funny: if you look at his Sim's stats, they always show that the reason he's so miserable is his social stat. And when Brian takes the experiment to real life, the reason it all comes together is that he gets his friends over for communal clown painting.
I like that we began season two with a shaved and haircutted bdg and now he's transforming back into our handsome shaggy boy. It's truly the hero's journey
He must be so happy that he took the effort to redecorate his apartment. According to the simulation he wouldn't have made it through day 2 in quarantine.
Me too. Sending you so much love. Thank you for being here despite how hard it can be at times and please know that you are worth happiness no matter what.

Is a home, larger than any mansion but devoid of life, a home, or a prison? Is that which the wealthy can afford merely distraction from the greater, more human quest to simply love, and be loved, by others?"
I don't know how Brian knew we were all about to spend a bunch of time in our apartments. Either Brian is a god, or can kill god, and I don't care if there's a difference.
“The thing that killed me wasn’t starvation but becoming so lonely that I no longer sought to fix my situation” Had to fight the existential crisis back after that one... yikes

Brian over here just flexing on us with how many friends he has
Yeah, that gave me a bit of a sad feel in the middle of the wholesomeness.
Well, too be fair, there were also friends of his friends there (that he might not have met before)
Don't worry.

Brian David Gilbert: "Even death forgot about me....."

It's funny: if you look at his Sim's stats, they always show that the reason he's so miserable is his social stat. And when Brian takes the experiment to real life, the reason it all comes together is that he gets his friends over for communal clown painting.
Also I like how he has legitimately kept these decorations, as visible in his Darts video. BDG got commitment yo.

Everyone's talents lie in different areas. I'm not particularly good at painting, but I'm good at English and writing. Horrible at math, lol. Besides, there are so many styles of drawing, there might be one out there for you, like cartoony or doodling =)
