Metabo HPT recip is my favorite recip. Even though I have the 40V Makita recip, I still love that Metabo HPT! 🙂✌❤

I think it's awesome. I don't have as much experience with different recip saws as I do with other tools, but it just feels really solid and powerful!

Metabo HPT as a brand in general is the best kept secret in Power Tools. I'm heavy into their 18/36V lines. Have several Red/Yellow tools as well. The MHPTs are as good or better than anything I've used from any other brand. Excellent tools, with great service, and warranty.

I agree with you. I’ve never had to warranty a tool, but that is also a good sign.

I totally agree. I also have lots of Dewalt (my original main brand) and some Milwaukee (M12 and M18) and Bosch 12v. Every company makes good stuff, but Metabo HPT's core tools--drill and impact, circ saw, recip saw--are equal to or better than anyone's. They also imnovate: the 36v router stands alone, for example.
I go green unless I use a core tool Metabo HPT doesn't make (M12 Surge) or use a secondary tool I got a super deal on from another brand.
That 36v sawzall sports best-in-class performance and price with the frequent sales. Nice review and good luck with the channel.

@@fabbro9999 same here sir. I'm green if I can be. That even involves searching the JP market for Hikoki products at times. But even then, sometimes MHPT doesn't make it. If that's the case, it's usually DW20V or DW12V with some M12 thrown in lol (M12 Surge, M12 Rotary, M12 Solder, M12 HS Ratchet) (All are musts for me, but if I could get em in green I would) little known fact : Hikoki has an oil impulse driver as well...it ain't cheap though lol.

@fabbro9 that 1/2 router is such a big deal on my opinion. They are pushing boundaries and that is good for everyone.

You did just fine man. The more cutting time you get with steel the more you’ll get use to it buddy. Securing it down is definitely a challenge. It becomes almost impossible if the steel is moving or vibrating too much. I put a steel demon Cermet II carbide on my metabo hpt rear handle and because the lower rpm’s it’s a match made in heaven for cutting steel fast and clean. Thanks for participating in the challenge brother and great review on the saw. It’s a true joy to operate

You mistake is not putting the shu against the material which made it vibrant significantly more but overall great job and it is hard work especially in the sun sweating so much you can't see rebar so hot it will literally rip the skin off your hands I built bridges and that my friend is very hard work. Thank you for all the great content. And keep it up bro 💪 I just got this saw and I have the ridgid octane and super Sawzall and flex to be honest flex is my favorite rn 💪

Yeah I don’t claim to be an expert at cutting metal. Not an area I have a lot of experience in so thanks for the tip.

Yes it is the best in power, features, price, warranty, AC adapter capable etc etc
No brainer -we have 4 of these and I've bought many others for gifts
All are still going strong and everyone is happy with them

The value is really what gets me. Even right now when they aren't running a price lower than standard, so they have it with a battery instead. So with a battery and charger you can pick this up for $50 less than the super sawsall tool only.

Not nice to the Ridgid but good video metabo is top of the line when it comes to reciprocating saws 💯🇺🇸

That Ridgid isn’t a terrible saw but it is older and lacks some features. They aren’t in the same class at all. The Metabo is right up there at the top.

Not only can it compete with the Milwaukee and Dewalt top of the line recip. saws, but it wipes the the floor with them in terms of performance. And it is more refined on top of that. And it has 4 speed settings. There are some comparison videos online. It is just a couple of months ago that Makita had to release a second version of their 40V sabre saw - so it slightly overpassed this Hikoki in performance(but just ever so slightly). . $99 for that saw is just unreal, you can not touch it for less than £220 here in the UK. Probably they are trying to get some market share there and get tradesmen on their platform, i can not see how are they making any profit with that prices. The 36v Hikoki ( Metabo HPT (what a stupid brand name buy the way) in the US) tools are top-performance and top-quality ones in every possible aspect. They just don't have such a broad line of all sorts of tools as Makita, Dewalt and Milwaukee.

Yeah for whatever reason they discount them here but their perform on par with the best.
