- Hi everyone, in this video I have discussed the Electoral Bonds & Supreme Court's Order.
Until now Political Donations were made under an electoral bonds scheme that allowed anonymity for people and companies. An electoral bond is like a financial tool used for making donations to political parties. The general public can also issue these bonds to fund eligible political parties.
Who challenged EBs in the Supreme Court?
In 2017, and later in 2018, two NGOs - ADR and Common Cause - and the Communist Party of India (Marxist) filed two separate petitions in the Supreme Court, urging it to put an end to the EB system.
Exactly a month ago, the Court gave the Electoral Bonds verdict, declaring dark and nefarious ways of election funding unconstitutional. “Information about funding to a political party is essential for a voter to exercise their freedom to vote in an effective manner,” the Court said, giving SBI three weeks to disclose all the details of Electoral Bond transactions.
A couple of days ago, ECI published the names of the donors who purchased the electoral bonds and the parties which encashed them, along with the dates and denomination of each transaction in two separate lists.
The 2024 elections have been announced today and the code of conduct has set in.

Corruption can't be wiped in democracy
It can be if there is political will to do so.

Electral bond is modern way of currption , which party get more donation means he is most corrupt party , because in return of party need to give some thing to that donar , either project , hold of ED id raid , etc

Same is happening before too bro, companies handed over loads of cash filled cases as funding to get support from government. Atleast now we can find the values of it and because of this chance of coming out, the funding dropped down to small numbers( in this scenario).

Accounting & Audit of Resources of a Country should be fair. Giving favour against donations for elections is a dishonesty against. Correct decision by court, this depicts no syndication in name of electoral bonds. Loan waiver given to industrial companies is depiction of disregard for audit & accountability.

I want to know that before electoral bond what was the process for funding towards political parties.
I don't think this is going to affect 24 elections much. Deep down everyone knew these stuff were happening. Still they were and will be supporting their chosen parties. Besides who didn't know about all these, who make the actual deciding votes of India, still do not know what exactly were electoral bonds or hows sbi related or any such things. Their votes majorly revolve around the schemes they're getting from any gov or the upcoming manifesto..(and some open secrets)
politics is a very dynamic and complex matter for us citizens...and as if you say that "I don't think this is going to affect 24 elections much" then on the first hand why govt made this shady/impartial system that allows only govt to track the identity of the donor and receiver????...why SBI was asking for 4 month to give data(at that time election would have been done and also new govt would have formed)???...there would be something that they would hesitate to public the data of EBs
@priyanshusolanki6209 Indeed, politics is as dynamic as it should be. My view was not regarding why any government would do this or that. It was just a mere view about how it can be seen from a distant town where eb s don't directly affect the lives of our citizens. Neither are they bothered of all these complex terms mentioned in newspapers every day.
No matter what, let's hope best for our country and contribute to India's growth in ways we're capable of as citizens. 🇮🇳

पहले कोई लिमिट नही था अब कम से कम सिस्टम में तो आ गया था न पैसा । वरना पहले जो कैश वाला चंदा आता था उसका तो कोई।रिकॉर्ड ही नही होता था। अब फिर से वही सिस्टम आ गया । प्रश्न ये है की क्या सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने इलेक्टोरल बॉन्ड की व्यवस्था का।कोई।विकल्प भी दिया है अथवा नहीं। अब फिर से वही ब्लैक मनी को खुले आम व्हाट किया जायेगा ।
2 अब अगर सरकार कोई। कानून कंपनियों के लिए बनाएगी तो कोई।भी इसका सम्मान nji। करेगा। इस डर से की।कही सुप्रीम कोर्ट उसे रद्द n कर दे ।
3 सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने right to information का हवाला देते हुए ये निर्णय दिया है तो वही जजेस अपनी।संपत्ति क्यों सार्वजनिक नही करते हैं। क्या जो आदमी न्याय के लिए आया है उसे ये जानने का अधिकार नही है की मैं जिससे न्याय मांग रहा हूं वो बिका हुआ तो नही हे।
सुप्रीम कोर्ट के फैसले से ओर्गास्म लेना जनता को बंद करना होगा
